indeed, an inquiry would just give some old duffer a massive lump of money to drag out a report for 8 years.........which nobody would implement anyway
Tories are doing what all opposition parties do: call for a public enquiry, Labour are just as bad, probably worse given they spend far more time in opposition.

Police figures from 2023 reveal, external that group-based child sexual abuse accounted for 3.7% of all sexual offences against children reported to police.
According to the data, 26% of group-based child sexual abuse happened within families, compared with 17% involving groups including grooming gangs.
Schools, clubs and religious institutions accounted for 9%.
There have been numerous investigations into the systematic rape of girls and young women by organised gangs, including in Rotherham, Cornwall, Derbyshire and Bristol.

what is the need for prolonged enquiry its all very straight forward with perfect evidence those of a certain ethnicity and religion think its perfectly ok to target a certain section of society .
