It was fun while it lasted.
Amen to that!!!One more thing: i wish they'd make the score-box larger in the corner of the screen: i can't see a damn thing without me specs on.
Trouble is, the BeeB don't have the live games on so we're stuck with adverts, endless waffle and tiny numbers in tiny boxes.Amen to that!!!
The BBC ones are far superior with addiional information, e.g time remaining in the sin bin.
I struggle to read it with my specs on. As I remarked t'other day, I need bigger glasses, and some smart arse quipped "wine glasses".
Oops, I broke the mould. I had whisky while watching the French game last night.Wine is only appropriate during a France match. Guiness for Ireland; Scotch for Scotland; Warm Bitter for England, and frosty sheep pee for Welsh games.
Other than Ireland won.Didn't really tell us much
Proper Test Match rubgy. Hard running through the middle and only when they managed to get the ball wide did they get across the line. Ireland need to get the lineout straight and SA could've won it with better kicking but take nothing away from the Irish defence. They were immense. Sixteen wins on the bounce. Now the Scots have to beat 'em next week to have a chance of going through: they couldn't, could they?Good match, running rugby and if South Africa had took two relatively easy kicks it would have been a draw.
Didn't really tell us much other than they're equally matched sides.
Probably hold it together in the first 40. I reckon a 15+ point margin in the second 40 though.they couldn't, could they?
