Rugby world cup.

I put a tenner on Ireland to win the world cup last month, yesterday was always going to be a tough test for them and they came through it, If they avoid loads of injuries I can't see anyone stopping them going all the way now, their side is the strongest northern hemisphere team I've ever seen.
I had France to win it but DuPont's injury could prove a stumbling block for France

Probably hold it together in the first 40. I reckon a 15+ point margin in the second 40 though.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a tighter game than that. The Scotti has history of biting any team who rates them as an underdog.

Ireland vs England in the final...

Drop goal win for England!

I thought it'd be a more sporting hunt but the Wallabies were massacred by the Welsh pack, hunting them down like the Cŵn Annwn of lore. Even Gwyn ap Nudd couldn't have held them back.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more amusing...

Eddie Jones’s men have traded places with new No 9-ranked Argentina, who are coached by ex-Wallabies boss Michael Cheika. With Argentina picking up 1.72 points for their scrappy 19-10 win over Samoa and Australia losing two-and-a-half points in their heavy defeat, the teams have swapped rankings with Wallabies in 10th for the first time since the rankings were introduced.

egg chasing is fun@the Grunadian

'strewth! :D

Eddie Jones.

Another one stealing a (handsome) living.

What exactly was his grand plan, his pathway of progress, during his time as England coach?

All I saw was a constant stream of lucky-bag picks, with no apparent rhyme nor reason.......

Another weekend without much significance, only Scotland v Ireland worth tuning in for.

The Irish had better been practicing their line dancing otherwise the Scots will fling them out the tournament.

Was England actively trying to lose that game against Samoa?
I mean, who gets timed out taking a routine kick at goal?
If they were trying to avoid Wales in the quarters then i don't think playing Fiji would improve their chances of going further in the tournament.
No probs for the Irish. Their match against the Kiwis will be v. tasty.
