For once I agree with you.
Watch the news or ask your best mate Andy11 or something like that.
Putin is trying to show the China leader that he is the first person he turns to make the China leader feel important and BBF.
China is one of the biggest investors in Ukraine and had big plans re major roads.
As Putin has sent young Russian soldiers in as cannon fooders and losing.
Putin will be able to cite that China is their best friend and will do as China asks.
this will hopefully lead to the first ceasefire by next week Sunday
There will be initial breaches of the ceasefire but it will get better.
A dead cert, Putin as long as he is alive will not give up the Crimea and the parts of Donbas he recognised as indy,
therefore there will be compromises as I have stated all along.

I suppose it comes with the territory, being the leader of a country, you are always in danger of starting to believe your own hype. A bit like anyone that is a leader in their field.
The following might not make sense in type, however I know what I mean in my head! On one level, world leaders can of course be thought of as extremely powerful. And indeed they are, in as far as they're the leader. However on another level, a moral level I suppose you could say, I view leaders like Putin as weak, deluded, pathetic individuals. So wrapped up in delivering their own version of society that individual life, pain and suffering carries absolutely no weight with them.
So keen are Ukrainians to be freed from their current society they're fleeing Ukraine ... in the opposite direction to Russia. However it's of no relevance to people like Putin, they'll spin it whatever way suits in their own head.
It's sad to think world leaders collectively have within their power the ability to work towards a genuinely peaceful world, however I'm not daft, I know that objective is never 'on their radar', regardless of whatever they spout. Oh and I include western leaders in that.

What a bunch of useless plonkers. Two weeks into a campaign fighting civillians, they have ran out of troops (importing 17,000 Syrians to help), half of their vehicles have broken down or got stuck in the mud, and now they are running out of weapons.
May be we should just air drop vast amounts of Vodka behind enemy lines, no need to fight them. Just watch them self destruct/
