A leading Polish MEP, and the country's former foreign minister, has heaped praise on Boris Johnson's leadership during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in recent days. Speaking on BBC Question Time, Radek Sikorski bemoaned the fact that no-one in the EU is as strong on standing up to Vladimir Putin as the British Prime Minister. This comes as the EU blocked Britain and the US' attempt to boot Russia out of the world's biggest financial payments system.

"Boris' decision to send anti-tank weapons to Ukraine was brave and timely.

"His decision to send British troops to Poland was also good.

"Hearing him in the last few days on Ukraine, I wish we had him on the European Council arguing for proper sanctions."

Last night, Brussels has been accused of refusing to take the toughest possible stance against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President Joe Biden had both pushed for Russia to be expelled from Swift, in order to effectively cut off the country's economy.

Cutting Russia out of Swift would have blocked it from most international financial transactions, including profits from oil and gas production.

At a White House briefing, US President Joe Biden said the move is "always an option but right now that's not the position that the rest of Europe wishes to take".

Decided to have a re read of this thread but got bored a quarter of the way through. Here a few of the highlights though. Mods, can we dispense with the Russian bots please, it's getting embarrassing.

There you have it - for weeks the west/usa chatting about false flag attacks are "imminent" and went as far as removing some people from the USA ad uk embassies

They are bluffing and have been since the Crimea takeover in 2014.

Like many, I'm certain you too are not aware that Russia has had on average around 100k of their troops along the border since 2014 so nothing new.

This morning the USA press were quoting the donkeys at the Whitehouse "invasion likely in a few days or weeks" - a big change from the statements they made a few weeks ago about it being "imminent."

More dirty news - "dirty bomb."

As they said, the first casualty of war is the facts.

Several weeks ago the Bullshitteres usa and the uk said that an invasion was "imminent" it never materialised as you know. Both countries then reiterated the BS and moved staff from the Ukraine and nothing. last week they said it could happen anytime.

The latest is that there is to be a coupe in Ukraine. Most of the people there just want peace and could not give a flying **** who lined their own pockets at the top

So much so for their intel, lol. I could have told them that weeks ago. They tried to get that girl putin to invade but once someone made a mistake of saying that Putins money the billion may be at risk of being frozen, Putin chickened out.

As I posted few days ago even a top General in the Russian armed forces slagged off Putin just like I slag him off as well as our clown in number ten and the other across the water.

The clown Boris is going into full attack mode and sent of that truss to wind up the russian.

What do they say about weak, failed leaders when they are in trouble at home and wars.

The "invasion" was "imminent" several times several weeks ago.
Then the invasion was "put on hold due to unfavourable weather conditions" a couple of weeks ago.
Then the russians were waiting for more troops
Then there were fake reports of blood banks being delivered to the front line
Then there are fake reports of a "false flag attack" by the UK's clown and USA reports put out many times over a week weeks ago.
Now the UK and USA has named "Wednesday" as the day of the attack

Bottom line as I've always said, no invasion at worst Dombas going like crimera as about 80% of those there support and speak Putin's language.

These fake reports are only being put out by certain countries.

Few weeks ago uk and usa told all non-eseential staff to leave and imo trying to cause panic.
Then about 3 days ago usa told their people to leave closely followed by our clown.

Now we have a named day for an attack

Would Russia really allow thousands of state of the art anti-tank weapons into a country they were ready to attack but did not before the weapons arrive - you know the answer.

Putin will not invade that country other that take over Dombas that is already 80% pro Russian and it is almost as good as theirs.

Personally I don't think any one will use nukes first unless they are sure the other side's ones can be taken out somehow. Israel is thought to have been in a different situation during the 6day war. A Polish airport - just an example. He has said that he will take action if any other country interferes. He either will or he wont. The USA and UK say they are thinking about sending Ukraine more arms that is interference and they need to get there.

The leadders of Ukraine were in my boat, well a bigger one as even he thought and accused the west several times of "causing unnecessary hysteria"

The Ukraines leader about 3 hours before Putin's speech state of Emergency came in - so the president of Ukraine was there and is still there i think and he did nor even believe that Putin was going to make a move for Dombas in any meaningful way.
