Sue Gray

"Now, of course, the reality is that Johnson wasn’t forced out because of Sue Gray’s investigation into the Downing Street parties. He was forced out because he and Rishi Sunak were at odds over economic policy and because, in the wake of the Chris Pincher affair, his MPs had grown weary of his Downing Street operation. But rewriting history to suggest that Johnson was forced out by a civil service investigation allows Johnson’s allies a way to rehabilitate their leader and themselves, and to find ways to undermine Sunak."

It is just clutching at straws now to consider her "biased" and changes none of the facts. Take off the blinkers and accept what Boris did, to himself, his country and all of us. She didn't hammer the Tories, just those responsible under the remit of the investigation.

Maybe, but a life long 'neutral' civil servant being offered a senior Labour position shortly after helping to bring down a Conservative PM is, if not the crime of the century, enough to at least raise an eyebrow?

Well that's a new angle.

Well that's a new angle.

Yes, the Johnsonites have only recently clustered round it.

You'll have noticed the Conservative Opposition led by Johnson, attacking the Conservative Government led by Sunak.

Just when you get use to the idea of a one world government you get two proponents fleshing it how it's going to be.

how did she help? Did she make the birthday cake and loan a suitcase?

Johnsonites attempting to rewrite history

"Speaking of undermining Rishi Sunak . . . Boris Johnson said in his speech yesterday that corporation tax needed to be cut and that he would struggle to vote for the Windsor framework."

"Never mind, of course, that it was Boris Johnson’s government which both pushed through the increase in corporation tax, and signed up to the Northern Ireland protocol. There is no argument against the Windsor framework that is not a better argument against the protocol. Increasingly, Johnson’s government is a bit like that old joke about the 1960s (“if you can remember it, you weren’t really there”): if you remember what Johnson’s government was actually like, you can’t support the politician Johnson is currently pretending to be."

'Crime of the Century', says he.
You've managed to make this issue even more amusing.
Cheers.(y)

If it refocusses on what a lying, narcissistic, and self-serving tnuc the scruffy fat tw@t is, all the better.

IMHO.

The BeeB have put five reasons de Piffle could be found guilty of lying to Parliament - restricted to five due to lack of space, i imagine.
He's due to appear before the committee during the week of Spring Equinox.
Beware the Ides of March, Boris!

Gray has been raided. Though that could be spin for hand back your property. They could also sack her while she is on notice, which would end any career back in the other direction. CoS is such a strange and usually not particularly senior role.

and raises concerns about her passing sensitive information on the Government to the opposition in the future.

That's their real concern. Just using the Boris report as cover
