The Brexit Solution - Learning from History

Not always...but then we're not plagued by rabid quitters around here!

So, would you care to tell us how many ISIS related killings there have been in the UK?

And then go on to tell us whether you ever travel by car?

If you want to think about irrational, go do the maths and come back with a sensible response!

You are ridiculous. Half of the world is at war with ISIL but you don't consider their members to be a realistic threat to society?

Time is running out ;) Armageddon is fast approaching, ("Rabid quitters" ) ;) People need to pull there eads out of the back sides & start taking this brexit scenario seriously.

Survival is the priority.

Essentials need to be hoarded , food , medicines , bottled water, fuel for heating and cooking . Also consider getting a generator.

Top of the list: ear plugs to protect the ears from remainers moaning and whinging.

You forgot to put a shotgun on that list...

An essential to protect yourself from rabid quitters when their unicorns desert them ;)

Good point ;)

Well if you have a fire arms licence , Then stock up on ammo.

"my post was about the fines" claims shagster

nonsense
Whatever you say.

One of the features of the remain campaign was a propensity to 'play the man not the ball'. You've avoided discussion of either of the links. Point scoring and failure to deal with the issues lost you the first referendum and it'll probably lose you the next.

Not ridiculous at all.

You asked a question, and I replied...

You then failed to answer what I asked you...

You obviously don't understand the meaning of what a 'threat' actually is!

No, I just think you're ridiculous. I'm not going to spend my time going back and forth with a moron. The fact that you don't see a very active terrorist group as a threat to the western world who benefit from the lack of closed borders says it all.

Ah, personal insults in place of a reasoned argument...

What you refuse to understand is the relative risk/threat!

So what is the biggest danger in the UK?

Dying from a terrorist attack or dying in a car accident?

Most of the terrorist attacks in the name of ISIS in Europe are home grown terrorists. They're not from foreign lands, they're born and bred in those counties.
Closing borders will not necessarily stop attacks on our soil. I wish it was that simple, I really do.

You are master at personal insults..
And you can not compare being killed by a terrorist to having a car accident!! Terrorism should be fought, don't trivialise.

I suppose if you insist on saying things that aren't true, and then pretending you didn't say what you plainly did, you should expect some personal criticism.

You probably manage to convince yourself that's "not fair."

That may be so but I can't see how having an open border system helps. I don't agree with the idea that it's ok if a few more slip through the net because most are home grown anyway; and they will inevitably use it to their advantage when the consider most of Europe to be their enemy.

Nothing will change with foreign terrorists regarding borders unless nobody is allowed in ever again. Am sorry to say. It is all down to intelligence gathering... Nobody arrives at our customs and declares that they are terrorists, so without intelligence it's going to be flipping hard to stop anyone when talking about borders. You do know that everyone, including people from the EU or traveling from an EU country have to stop and show their passports/identity checked right? It's not like people can walk right in.

Maybe we should adopt the American approach then, and put a question on the (online) landing card which asks if 'Do you seek to engage in or have you ever engaged in terrorist activities, espionage, sabotage, or genocide?'
