The Petition to cancel the Labour Government - result

There was never a proper debate about the terms on which we left the EU, more a right wing torey power grab, using brexhit and no deal as an excuse. Staying in the trading bloc was always an option.

BRINO was definitely on the table, I'd have been OK with BRINO, but it wouldn't take long of those on the outside of policy making to become the prey of the policy makers.

Tories will not give Labour a honeymoon.
Kimi B is hardly hard hitting. Labour have it as easy as it can possibly get right now. I suspect Kimi will be replaced first, unless of course she can turn up the heat.
As did the last election.

We will have another within 4 and a half years or so
and the one before

so do polls

every single major poll for voting intention shows Labour ahead

Labour 26%
Reform 25%
Conservatives 22%
Lib Dem’s 14%
Greens 8%

Poll released today

1% ahead of Reform - hardly a vote of success within the first year when the only way now will be down

I'd have said exactly the opposite.

To be in the lead after the 1st 6 months is way better than expected. The 1st stage is always when the tough decisions have to be made to pave the way for the future. Popularity nearly always suffers in the 1st stages

It's the Tories that need to be re thinking and acting

what good news do you think they can use to rally support? Or do you think its a case of the opposition falling apart more?
Shouldn't the tories be top of the popularity contest in any current poll ?

Still self destructing ? Lurching to the right even further? Opening up that middle ground even more ?

A sensible BRINO deal could have been negotiated as quickly by an independent civil service. But we got David Davis Lord Frosst and Beefy

The Brexers never agreed what sort of Brexit they wanted. Still haven't. Never will. The reason being that they hoped for lots of different and incompatible things, and picking one would have alienated all the others.

So we ended up with Buffoon's

Plus, by repeating the mantra of "Brexit, but not this Brexit!", they can distance both themselves and the concept of "Brexit" itself from its failure.

Pimlico guy touted as new re form leader, apparently being an ardent remainer is no longer a bar to high office
