However going on the one I heard even being there in a riot is a significant factor. Violent disorder charges seem to be the most common so far which fits in with that view.

An Asian was arrested due to breaching a suspended sentence. Good example of the UK method of crowd control usually a demo. Fine but break any law and you will be arrested. This includes racial factors, slogans and signs and etc. Stick around in a riot and if caught you've had if charged.

Of course it is. The incidents took place in several different places in the airport.
The video evidence has o be collected from all CCTV, body cams and the public.
Witnesses and participants have to be found, interviewed and recorded.
Cross-referencing of the evidence has to be completed.

The evidence for the rioters is recorded on police mobile CCTV and body cams at the scene.
And probably hinges on one event, such as throwing, menacing, punching, etc.

Agree - but the issue with rioting is the offences all escalate without any real difference in the guilty mind.

The pro Hamas protestors mostly got away with suspended sentences, primarily because the protests were largely peaceful. Had the so called far right protests occurred peacefully the government would actually have a real problem on their hands.
