But this isn't really about race, nor padephilia, it's about other nations seeing women/gilrs as fair bait, and easy pickings. Rape is endemic in come of their original countries, and the girls quickly learn not to put themselves in dangerous situations, that's why it's the white girls that get targeted, not the Aisan girls who aren't allowed out late at night.

I've read the situation about Sarah Champion, and I'm not sure why Firebrands so against her, but it does seem as though she tried to get a decent message across, in a slightly inept way, and got burned for it.

What utter nonsense!
To suggest that some nations see rape as fair bait. Are you off your trolley?
To suggest that rape is endemic in some countries. What comic are you reading?
You will be suggesting that rape is endemic in Sweden next.

But you have prefaced both comments by saying it is not about race. :ROFLMAO:

If this is your perception of the world, you need to get out more.

If you're not aware of the problems in India etc, then I suggest it's you that needs to be a bit wider read. The caste system denegrates those of a lower caste, whilst the mysonogistic attitudes treats women as wothless. Attitudes are starting to change, but it's going to take time. In many Arab countries, foreign woman are seen as fair game as they are considered "easy", and treated with contempt for their way of dress.

But you make a valid point about my saying it's not about race, as it is, and it isn't. Maybe saying it's more about cutlural attitudes would be better.

The people that I have met on my travels, which has not been limited, have treated all foreigners with the utmost respect, and generosity.
Sure, there will always be criminals, and in my experience, they do not really care about the ethnicity (or even the age) of their victims. It is usually the easier targets that become victims of theses criminals, rather than the criminals specifically targeting other 'races'. Unless they are RWR criminals, who will abuse other races intentionally.
I do not think that is the case in the recent incidents, more a case of easier targets, or less risk of apprehension (or even the victim being believed).
Similarly, the Catholic priests do not target specific individuals, more like the easy targets (or less risk of apprehension or the victim being believed). Similarly, abuse in the home by relatives, etc, etc.
Crime prevention works on the same principle, to deter the criminal.
Perhaps there is a failure of society to discuss the crime of abuse of children, with the possible victims, prior to them becoming victims.
Perhaps we should do more of the "Don't go off with strangers!"

Also, you said:

I can assure you that most females are aware of "learn(ing) not to put themselves in dangerous situations.

And as for rape being endemic in some countries. Have you been reading the comics again?
You will be telling us next that attacks by tigers is endemic in some countries.

And this illustrates perfectly the problems you have Wannabe. You make very interesting and valid points, and then ruin them by making childish comments.

I would have thought that the "marry your rape victim to get off the hook" laws that are being repealed in many countries, was indicative of the issue; the law itself is virtually a licence to rape.

And that's exactly why white girls get targeted, simply because the Aisan girls know the danger they will be putting themselves in. One of the isuses with the Rochdale enquiry, was that social workers and care home workers felt they had no right to stop the girls going out at night if they wanted to (where a parent would have) and that was one of the reasons that the "white" girls were an easy target, and therefore created a simplistic race issue.

So tell us more of your vast experience in travel... Google and a school trip to North Wales perhaps? Which conflict zones have you operated in? XBox?....

You really are serious when you recon that in a roundabout kind of way that it is the fault of the victim for getting herself raped. This is her country and her culture, if some young Miss wishes to go out in a skirt so short that she needs to shave, then that is her right... There is no harm in looking, or making a saucy comment towards her but, and lets make this crystal clear to you.... YOU DO NOT TOUCH UNLESS INVITED... Clearly this is something that you are not mentally mature enough to understand, but the entire faith of islam is not mature enough to be allowed out in public... I'm yet to meet a member of the religion of peace who can be seen out in public without his hands down the front of his trousers..... I am not surprised by much but I am very surprised that you have the gaul to even attempt to justify the actions of these muslims, you are below contempt

if some young Miss wishes to go out in a skirt so short that she needs to shave, then that is her right

But therin lies the problem Firebrand. The daft thing about young girls (and a lot of women for than matter) is that they dress to look good and make themselves attractive, but forget that men have an inbuilt instinct to continue the species, and that's fine when they're sobre, but control goes to pot when they start to drink. But there's a lot of foreigners (white as well as brown) that look on women as just to be used - hence why I should have used the word cultural earlier. You talk to your grandmother, and she's tell you that girls knew how to look after themselves in her day, but the current generation think they can have it all, (I blame the spice girls for that) and that gets them in to trouble. There will always be blokes that know what's right, and those who think they have every right, but some girls won't always know which is which until they get into more trouble than they can handle.

Did you notice a spate of white blokes that always had their hand down their trousers about 5 years ago. It was reckoned that holding their manhood made them look tougher. I was so temped to be blunt, and shout out w*nker at one of them one day.

Well it used to be the accepted thinking, not sure if it's the current one though, but I doubt if some things change. Unlike Firebrand, I never got slapped though, but I suspect I would nowadays - or worse. I always found that a degree of sincerity behind the comment got a thank you, and often the start of a meaningful conversation.

You have grossly twisted my comment. I suggested nothing of the sort that you have deduced!
But I should have expected that of you.
I did consider including a comment to explicitly explain that I did not consider it acceptable to abuse children simply because they were silly enough to put themselves in harm's way. I did not think it was necessary, but in your case, obviously it was! It is still an adult's responsibility not to take advantage of vulnerable people. But criminals, (all criminals) obviously will take advantage of vulnerable people.

That is why there is no moral comparison between some taxi drivers committing offences and supposed leaders of society committing simmilar offences.

The rest of your comment is a continuation of your twisted mind, and does not deserve a response.

You might be a recon of a previous twisted contributor, but I am not.

Nope, it is pretty clear what your views are on this subject and you can back peddal all you like...

And this illustrates perfectly the problems you have Wannabe. You make very interesting and valid points, and then ruin them by making childish comments.
And this illustrates perfectly the problems that you have, dogdeit. You make stupid and invalid points, like "some nations see rape as fair bait", and "rape is endemic in some countries".
I suggest you look up the definition of endemic to see if it matches the idea that you tried to convey.

I would have thought that the "marry your rape victim to get off the hook" laws that are being repealed in many countries, was indicative of the issue; the law itself is virtually a licence to rape.
Only in your opinion. I suppose that the offer of 'blood money' to the relatives of someone murdered is a licence to kill anyone you want.

So you are agreeing that the girls that were abused were vulnerable? Hence why they were exploited.
and therefore created a simplistic race issue.
It was not a race issue. It was interpreted by some as a race crime. It was not, it was a crime that transcended different races or cultures, not because of the race/culture per se, simply because the girls were easier targets to be exploited. Had there been girls who were as vulnerable, but happened to be martians, I suspect that they would also have been exploited, not because they were martians, but because they were vulnerable. It is the vulnerability of the victims that is exploited by criminals, in the majority of crimes, not the race, gender, age, etc. Obviously there are exceptions to that comment.

But ( I will include the comment this time, in case any idiots try to ascribe opinions or sentiments to me, that I have never held or expressed), despite the vulnerability of these girls, it was still the criminals who exploited them, and that is not acceptable, and why they were punished.

When old people are scammed out of their life-savings, it is the vulnerability of the victims that attracts the criminals, not the age per se.
