UK Car manufacturing doubled since Brexit

From 2021:
"In a regulatory position statement issued on Tuesday, the Environment Agency introduced a waiver that would mean some companies would not have to go through the third stage in the treatment of sewage if they did not have the right chemicals."

Shortage of drivers down to Brexit

I am certain I wont be moaning about it 7 years later. But then I was on the fence (almost) in 2016 and I expected remain to win.

You'll be surprised to learn that the anti-Europeans were still moaning after 40 years

And still haven't stopped.

My WTF was in reply to sewage treatment that seems to have been added to a U.K. car manufacturing thread. W.T.F? Why not introduce, I don’t know, shortage of tomatoes or queues at ports in holiday periods? Gally has a habit of introducing completely random non-related off-topic subjects into threads to derail them.

He only has to step outside his own front door and jump in the hole kindly provided by Thames Water...
Yuk!

How's it going?
Today, they have finished the run along the back gardens to the manhole so everything is back working at the moment. They still have the last neighbours patio to make good but next job is to replace the run down her drive to the main sewer in the street. She will not be happy - not long had her drive tarmaced and it looks like they have marked out the middle third to be dug up. If it was mine, I’d want the whole drive replaced, not just a strip down the middle. She comes back from holiday tomorrow morning. I'm happy as my problem was that mine and next doors waste was backing up because it was not getting to the manhole.
