That's a good idea. Tell me, who has been in charge of setting UK Minimum Wage for the last ten years?
Who has been in charge of Employment Regulations controlling Zero Hours Contracts?
Do you think wages are too low?
Why don't you know who sets minimum wage in the UK?
Why don't you know who sets Employment Regulations?
If you were born and brought up in this country, speak the language, know the culture, have the contacts and were taught the trade, why is it that employers don't value you more than a foreign migrant without any of those advantages?
it's time for change.
And you have formed the opinion that after ten years of conservative government, stagnant wages, austerity and crumbling public services, the solution is.... more conservative government.
Happy dreams.
with respect theres is not a huge majority who agree with the lying mesogynist they just choose his lies over an honest but very misunderstood politicianThere's a huge majority of people who agree with my line of thought John, hence a Conservative govt with a huge majority. Who, apart from Galahads motley bunch of followers agree with you? a handful of libdems, a bunch of greens and an assortment of communists. Oh dear, Oh deary deary me.
On Brexit..? Or the negative consequences of tory policy? There's a huge majority of people who agree with my line of thought John
Such as free high speed internet for all and free bus travel for the under 25's?but said he would never ever get into power as he didnt play the politicians game off saying and promising what people want to hear rather than be honest
Who was it that raised the unemployment benefit age from 16 to 18 which reduced the unemployment figures overnight?the UK has mandatory education to 18, so unemployment figures dont compare to EU figures
John, the UK minimum wage is one of the highest in Europe. Fact.
Tradesmans wages have been driven down by an influx of cheap Eastern European labour. Fact.
These are two quite separate things, what part of that do you find difficult to understand?
an act off desperation rather than manipulationSuch as free high speed internet for all and free bus travel for the under 25's?
Over the last ten years, wages have not grown in real terms.
The taxpayer subsidises bad employers by topping up the income of some people when they cannot earn even enough to live in poverty.
I see you choose to blame workers, for low wages.
I'm sure you've seen what Winston Churchill had to say about bad employers when they have the freedom to pay low wages, and worse employers when they have the freedom to pay even less.
You are blaming the wrong people.
desperation or just deluded?an act off desperation rather than manipulation
