VE Day 75 years later: The real story of how Britain won WW2

Initiially he did. The others were encouraged to join later. It was his decision alone to build the house, others joined in, and if the house building failed it would have ultimately been his failure.
The draughts man was in at the beginning, as was his family

Fearing the Navy would be too big an opponent for a land invasion, the Germans launched a massive air offensive with the intention of wiping out first the RAF then factories munitions etc, they did eventually change tack and target homes as well. Nosealls right when he says 'German military superiority', the Luftwaffe had four times the number of aircraft the RAF had, we somehow managed to crush the fokkers.

The attacker always needs much more manpower and hardware to succeed, than a defender. We had the massive advantage of a very effective radar system - Home Chain, which could spot aircraft as the took off in Europe to bomb the UK. The Germans had radar but made little effective use of it.

The Luftwaffe began by attacking UK airfields to wipe out the RAF. We bombed Berlin, which then caused Hitler to seek retribution by bombing cities, taking the pressure off the RAF and allowing it to be better able to attack the German bombers.

You should have stood by your guns (no pun intended), the history books acknowledge that after the French surrendered, Britain was stood alone against Germany, everyone else in Europe had been conquered or surrendered.

"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."

The Germans changed direction because we didn't lay down and they thought we were stronger than we really were. Dud aircraft and tanks. Great minds can be better than guns.

Berlin bombed London in August 1940 (in error, sh1t navigator), Churchill then ordered the bombing of Berlin, which then caused a massive blitz on London which gave the RAF a small amount of time to regroup and repair airfields.

Nonsense, lol.

Hitler decided to invade Russia (Operation Barbarossa). It was the luckiest decision for the UK Hitler ever made.

It was. But why did Hitler put so much effort into an invasion across the channel then give up on the idea.???

Maybe our resistance and he thought we were stronger than we really were...

Do you think The Russians beat the Germans from the east without our help?
