I remember everyone beating their chests about the cruel dictator Saddam and how he needed to be removed immediately.
Because, fundamentally, I don't believe that a significant number of MP's are acting in "people's best interest".
I'm not arguing about why the plebs were conned nor do I argue about how easily they have been conned again. They are plebs FFS.I remember a dossier about weapons of mass destruction and how they could be launched at the drop of a hat.
TO be honest I've reached the point of total disillusionment with all the current shower of politicians (UK & Europe) - none of the outcomes will be in the interests of the 'plebs' they will be in the interests of the institutions of power.
2½ years and still a shambolic mess on all sides (to give the EU it's due, it 'seems' less shambolic on their side of the table)
The only saving grace: we can still look down on Trump whilst we wallow in political miseryThe worst house of commons in my lifetime - all parties are shambolic
we can still look down on Trump
You couldn't make this up, could you.You couldn't be further from the truth, facts and truth are vital.
So presumably if the leave/remain vote had resulted in a majority to stay and subsequently MP's decided that they believed it would be better to leave you would support that position?
If they really believed that, yes
