Weight loss

It's not with the fasting. I drink reddish tea and like a flat white, both don't need sweetening.

However I do like a double espresso so I now add Manuka Honey as this needs to be sweetened for
Yeah, being a healthy weight is a lifestyle decision. Many people manage it without any thinking, it's just those whose naturally eat more than they should that suffer.

Part of the reason I decided to stop eating breakfast is seeing my kids not eat breakfast, and then remembering I never used to have breakfast when I was young, even when I met my wife - she couldn't understand how I could function in the morning without breakfast, but I am not naturally hungry until about 11am usually, so skipping it makes

I have never been a breakfast person, but maybe I should and it might stop the cravings for sugar at the end of the day. Yes, I think I will start there and give it a month; if I don’t lose any weight then I will consider intermittent fasting. I am 5’ 2” and weigh 12 stone ie obese. My goal is 10 stone. I want to get to that and maintain it.
 
I'm not sure starting to eat breakfast will be the solution. Tackle sugar cravings with salad and a little fruit.

It would be a light breakfast, light lunch and light dinner. In between if I must I will have a piece of fruit instead of a chocolate, biscuit, cake and just give it time I suppose. Ps I do need to eat more salad.

Don’t forget it’s almost impossible to stick to it 7 days a week. I always a treat on a Friday and manage to lose 2lbs a week.

Keep a diary and look at it every couple of weeks to see what works best.

It’s takeaway night on Fridays at ours so I will allow myself that, (without eating the leftovers this time) . I have started a food diary from this morning . If I see it written down I can then see where I am going wrong. It really is now or never. I am nearly 60. Metabolism has slowed down, but my greed hasn’t .

I'd say that a future meal plan would be much more sensible than keeping a diary of what you've already eaten.

Do you cook yourself, share the cooking or sit impatiently waiting to be fed???

Do you do the shopping, share the shopping or sit impatiently in the car listening to the radio & ogling the yummy mummys???

Are you the victim of an enabler???

I cook and shop myself. No enabler. Don’t do enough exercise
