We're having a party

And guess where all our coal comes from now...........Poland lol

You mean they can produce coal cheaper, meaning we pay less for leccy.

OH THE HORROR!

You obviously know nothing about European coal subsidies which is surprising for someone with a Welsh name albeit with something missing (Aaron)

Crap-- Coal would cost twice the price to the consumer if it was mined here in UK.
Buying it from Poland or any other country- is damage limitation -for us here in UK.
She did a great job cleaning up that Brit miners cartell.
What she started just was not finished by her successors --they just ballsed it all up again.

Call me all the names you want - she was the best prime minister in my lifetime and had more balls than all her male successors.

Personally, I'm sad to hear of her death, but at least it was a peaceful end.

which old witch, the wicked witch.

You repulsive, insensitive little object sooey.
She was a human being and a mother -as well as being someones little daughter at one time.
The fact the fine job she did for this country just did not fit in with your thinking or preferences-- or intergalactic views --does not change the facts .
Maybe it is about time you said something good about someone (never seen it happen yet though)..
Stop thriving on conflict , aggression and disgusting language and insults every day . You may even like yourself--if you manage to achieve that.

Whatever your politics I think you will accept that she did what she did thinking it was for the benefit of the country.
Unlike Blair who did what he did for the benefit of Blair.

no, you're wrong

Fair enough.
I wonder how many of those who despise, hate her, were around in the period before she became PM.
If they were they will remember the 3 day week, power cuts, a wage freeze , coffins piling up , etc etc.
God only knows what state the country would have been in if she had not come to power.

I think Scargill was responsible for that.

Hmmm, just how much wages did Arthur lose during the miners strike ??

Let's think about that for a moment,,,,, Ahh yes, ,,NONE.
It's about time union leaders who take an entire industry out on strike, received the same wages as their striking members,,,, A big fat zero.

Typical brainless response from an idiot.
Stalin was a human being and a father as well as being someones little son once, so what.
The woman was poison, not in the same way as the likes of Stalin perhaps but poison none the less. No surprise that she'd be a hero to the likes of you.

I don't accept that at all. Look at her useless son that "self made" millionaire Mark. How did that happen?
I put Blair in the same bracket as her, in fact I'd class him as her true disciple. She destroyed the ability of the unions to protect the working mans interests. (We all know that they needed curbing, but she virtually destroyed them). He flooded the country with cheap foreign labour at the behest of the landowners and businessmen and at the expense of the working classes.
When he dies I hope they bury him close to her so that those who want to p*ss on both their graves won't have too far to travel.

You can judge a person not just by the quality of their friends, but by their enemies.

She destroyed the ability of the unions to protect the working mans interests

Pity the unions looked after their own interests then rather than the workers, I remember my dad telling me he would refuse jobs that made you join a union.

Nope you've got that wrong.
Even the labour twits admit the aim of Labour’s immigration strategy was to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date’.

Yes, diversity is one of their holy ideals but the biggest single effect on the working man of flooding the country with cheap labour is to drive down his wages.
