Just finished watching 'The New Look'. It’s about how fashion designers (mainly Christian Dior and Coco Chanel) got through the Nazi occupation of France. Inspired by true events and I found it very watchable.

Wanda Vision on Disney+

There is a new witchy show called Agatha All Along which is after Wanda Vision so we are watching that first, seems like it's based on the style of "I love Lucy".

Well, late last evening...

I watched a strange film on Film4, Lola, based on the premise that - during the WWII, two British women invented a radio/TV gadget, which could see future broadcasts. Seeing that, they could predict where the bombing would take place, get people shelter, to avoid it, help direct efforts to combat U-boat attacks. That changed the entire progress of the war, U-boats were allowed to attack a US ship, 2,000 dead, which caused the US not to enter the war, Germany realised what was being used to predict where raids would take place, managed to circumvent it, and Britain was invaded by Germany.

Interesting idea, all filmed in B&W, on a low budget, some using elderly film cameras.

A film called Twisters. I’ve just reprogrammed a firestick for a friend and I'm testing it out. A teacher is teaching kids about twisters and they asked her if a twister could hit New York. She said "no, don't be silly". I have an idea how this film is going to progress…..
