Been busy stocking up on supplies: a new border fork to replace the one i snapped; stump killer; weed killer and 4" copper nails - for the war to come. I'm a lean, green killin' machine:mrgreen: ...just as soon as the rain stops, otherwise i'll rust..

A bloke at second-born's football wore shorts all of the time, whatever the weather.

"I ay never sin a rusty blowke", was his justification
Was he a Geordie?
They appear to be impervious to the weather.

Only a madman would walk into the dell of death i face - a pit full of bramble and burrs, big enough to burn a bison, i tell thee!
Has to be cleared before i can weave some magic into the soil and bring a garden to liff.
I rarely wear shorts, as a rule, and for this job i'll wear me cord's.

Broke it already! Leant over to pick up my cuppa, heard/felt a 'crack' in the arm and a bit of it has dropped and now squeaks when it’s pressed. Waiting for Next customer service to call me back.

Edit: Sending their sofa man round in 10 days time to inspect it and fill in a report.
New one turned up today but I had a stand off with the delivery driver. They turned up as promised but they had no paperwork to take the old one back. I told them they would not be dropping the replacement off then. He told me to phone head office, I said no, you phone head office because you are not dropping the replacement one off here without taking the faulty one away. Anyway, he got on the phone, told them I was refusing delivery, they gave him a reference number and they took it. Miserable lazy ****.

Forty quids worth of diesel for the Golf. I usually fill it up but we might have to get rid of it at the end of next month if my plan to get round Khan's expansion doesn’t work or Starmer grows a pair and leans on Khan and I don’t want to leave half a tank of fuel in it! I can’t remember part filling any of our vehicles for at least 20 years.

Plan B = Move to somewhere more civilised.
