What have you bought today?

Not me but my son bought me a beginner drone to play with. Got it set up indoors, switched on, paired up and it went crazy. I couldn’t control it, frightened the dog, frightened Mrs Mottie and generally frightened myself! Had to crash it to stop it. I wouldn’t mind - it’s only for beginners aged 14 upwards! I think I’ll put it away for now and I’ll need to take it out on a day with good weather with a bit of clearance around me. Oh, and I’d better read the instructions too. There must be a panic/stop button on it somewhere.

A fishing reel for house dog.

I wonder if anyone can make sense of that?

You taught your dog how to fish and he is now the world's 2nd best? You are first of course.

Lidl had some stick on tape measures, you put them on the edge of a desk/bench to be able to quickly measure stuff, I got several.

I had gone for a run over Cannock Chase, when a couple of mountain bikers, older guys, started gesturing for me to move across to the side of the track.

A drone was hovering, at eye level, in the middle of the track.

Talking to one of the blokes - not the drone owner - he said it was his mates, and he had it set up to follow him at about 30' altitude, so it could video him riding his bike.

Drone Owner was a bit of a stroppy knobber. (y)

As a drone pilot, SK has a responsibility to fly safely, especially when it comes to the proximity of people.. Hovering at eye level is not safe.

SK has a responsibility to fly safely,

You have it all wrong, Secure.

Like with people with their dogs off leads, leaving their shoite wherever the mutt evacuates their innards, and mountain bikers blasting past, it is everyone else's responsibility to "get the fudge out of their way".............

A foam lined, hard skinned carry case for my drone. It’s coming on holiday with me next week.

Went to B&Q to get some sand and cement today to patch up the concrete in my yard at work. Sand was £3 a bag. They had three bags with holes in, in separate bags for £1.50 a bag. They were the same size as the full bags, in fact, one was a lot heavier. I bought those plus one £3 bag. When I got to the car and lifted the £3 bag out, the bottom split and I lost half the sand that was in it.
