It is a war you muppet, it started last year after the invasion of Isreal.

it is not a war

definition of war:

"a state of armed conflict between different countries"

where are the arms, in Gaza?

Everyone knows Netanyahu is only continuing the war/annihilation to avoid being sacked and facing criminal trials.

Everyone knows Trump is only standing for re-election to avoid prison.

It's all so sad.

Actually the war has been going on for decades ever since zionist terrorists started the expansion of israel and the expulsion of Palestinians from their land...

That is indisputable!

The last year has just been the latest round of violence brought about by endless desperation and oppression!

There must be a two state solution so that the hundreds of thousands of pointless deaths over the years can come to an end...

But it will never happen until israel is forced back to the negotiation table...

Not by violence, but by overwhelming political and economic pressure/sanctions...

Of course the fact that israel exerts unbearable economic pressure and sanctions on all aspects of Palestinian life seems to be ignored by their apologists !

I have a similar view. Except I acknowledge it’s a war, it’s asymmetrical and Hamas are leveraging civilians as part of the strategy.
According to Israel.
And of course nations never use propaganda during a conflict.

Israel occupied and annexed Gaza following the 1967 war.
So Gaza is effectively in Israel. Therefore the incursion was not an invasion. It was an internal uprising. Hamas in Gaza were already in Israel.
The Gaza Strip is unusual in being a densely settled area not recognized as a de jure part of any extant country.
That means it has no right to exist, or be part of any existing country.
Therefore, due to the ongoing occupation, the Israel borders include Gaza., post the 1967 war.

Filly often takes a simple view on the very early days of Israel being around. All down to the Arabs. What he is inclined to ignore is the geopolitical formation as a result of what turned into an expansionist war. Palestinians effectively being forced out. Turmoil and also land grabs. Israel figures in the turmoil and even did when GB was trying to control the lot. The Arabs have caused it too but bear in mind the expansionist war aspects. The early offers on land would have left significantly less land for Israelis. The Israeli areas always gets larger.

He has agreed that the West Bank should not be settled. E Jerusalem has similar problems. This in some ways is where things get strange. The security council and actions by countries could have easily put a stop to it.

Settlers were forcibly removed from the Gaza strip. Down to Bush's threat on aid? Not checked but it probably was.

The rules on what can and can't be done in occupied territory are pretty clear and obviously ignored.

Add a Benjamin comment - Proud of making a 2 state solution impossible. Also consider his others and ones from some other Israeli MP's. Is this attitude new - afraid I don't think so.
