I disagree. Palestinian children died before the 7th.

You claim that it is wrong for the innocent to die but are trying very hard to justify it for one side.

What could Hamas possibly hope to gain with their invasion? Do you not think this retaliation was entirely predictable? Do you think they considered this and didn't care?

It's a horrible, nasty, hate filled, bloody war. But it wasn't inevitable and didn't have to happen.

Gosh a Tory supporter thinks a Tory shill that writes for a Tory media propaganda outlet tells you what you want to hear.

Surprise of the century :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

the fact he is spouting rancid BS, is irrelevant to you :ROFLMAO:

I am not a Tory supporter like you. He says what the majority of this country knows is the truth but are to scared to say it.

Are you a Hamas supporter? You understand there wasn't a war going on between the two countries at that time.
You understand wars are started by acts of war and/or declarations of war?
the difference is the state of war.
The war between Israel and Palestinians has never been resolved since 1948.
The current situation is yet another conflict in the never ending war.

Yes, if the Israelis stopped killing, torturing, dispossessing, and general subjugation and apartheid of Palestinians the 7th October probably would never would have happened.

The 7th October incursion was the retaliation.
In which case it was entirely predictable.

Do you not think it's strange that Israel claims to know exactly, within a few metres, the location of Hamas, yet they have no idea of the location of the Israeli hostages. Weird that.

At the time, many were saying that they did it to stir things up, because Iran was worried there was going to be some sort of accord between Israel and various Arab states in the region.

That would have been a very dumb thing to do and rather throws your population as well as yourselves under the bus.

Better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

We, too, born to freedom, and believing in freedom, are willing to fight to maintain freedom. We, and all others who believe as deeply as we do, would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945)
It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
Dolores Ibårruri, “La Pasionaria” (1895-1989),
Mejor morir a pie que vivir en rodillas.
Men of the South! It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!
Emiliano Zapata (c. 1877-1919),

A noble gesture when deciding it for others... oh wait... no it isn't.

I doubt that is true, what did they think would happen if they embed their forces in civilian infrastructure?

its obvious even to a 10 year old kid in the playground, that if you pick a fight with a bigger, stronger, better at fighting kid, you'll get a kicking.

If you start a war against a more powerful nation you are going to get annihilated.
