Zion and the Art of Armageddon

As occupied Palestinians can be fully justified via law in terms of attacking the occupier but not in some ways that they did however these rules do not account for what actually happened. Hamas attacked the occupying country. No excuse for them but that is what happened.
No civilians should ever be targeted!

The powers that be in Israel have no interest what so ever in a separate state. Nothing new about that. Last time a peace treaty was achieved the Israeli who signed it was shot by his own side and the deal hasn't achieved what it should have done anyway.
Indeed they don't, but filly the apologist seems to disagree...

Strange that he has suddenly gone silent when asked about whether he approved or not of Netanyahu celebrating zionist terrorism ;)

If hamas didn't kill 1200 innocent people then maybe we would'nt be where we are today ? they knew full well Israel would retaliate, so i have not one ounce of sympathy for them.
So you mourn for innocent Israelis, but couldn't give a toss for tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians...

You are an apologist and totally clueless as to why conflicts run on and on!

There are innocents on all sides.
During slave uprisings in America, innocent white women and children were raped and hacked to pieces.
These days no one would use the above to justify slavery.

If hamas didn't kill 1200 innocent people

"Innocent" is a tricky word. So is "killed by Hamas."

If 1200 innocent people were killed, presumably serving members and reservists in the Israeli army are not included? And the Israeli settlers killed by Israeli tank fire and attack helicopters are not included?

Apart from those exempt, all Israeli citizens must do military service and are also reservists (again with exemptions) until the age of 40...

Thus they are in the eyes of the 'law' that Israel treats Palestinians with, 'combatants' whether on duty or not...

Half of those exemptions though were on 'religious grounds'...

So it's strange how the ultra orthodox extremist jews are so up in arms (and rioting) about no longer being exempt from taking up arms to fight for the country they believe is their 'god given right'...

They'd rather they just be allowed to read a fairy tale book instead

Allahu Akbar.

It seems UNRWA's main building in Gaza city has been flattened. Some of it appears to have been used as a shelter by Gazans.

The Israeli army will begin sending out conscription orders to members of the Ultra-Orthodox community this Sunday. And they're not kosher with it - The orders are the first stage in the assessment and evaluation process that the army carries out for new recruits, in advance of the recruitment cycle in the coming year.

Ultra-Orthodox community
They also have volunteers from this group. Due to religious differences they form their own brigade. One of the few the US have complained about. It sounded like a direct instruction to get them away from Palestinians - moved to the Golam heights.
