Over a minute extra per person...

How many people on an average plane, and how many planes per hour?

Do the math and the Dover chaos will be repeated at multiple locations!

And you like the idea of 'biometrics' so much that you don't understand that the 'system' very soon will be run by AI?

And when the 'system' says no, then you are screwed...

With such ignorance around it is no wonder that the world is sleep walking towards a dystopian 1984!
I didn't say i liked the idea of Biometrics, only that the system will become commonplace.

I'm not sure you quite understood what a 3X increase in queuing time means.

But personally I can't see how a computer checking your records is going to be slower than the boarder guard manually sifting through your scruffy passport.
If the UK hadn't left the EU those times would be much less, yes?

convicted rapist? oh Denso, your brain really struggles to hold on to facts.
Some one else struggling with the English language.
Perhaps if Denso had used a comma it would have been clearer to you. I personally would have used a comma to make my comment crystal clear:
"The convicted felon, and rapist? He can't argue with facts."
He is a convicted felon. he's also a rapist.

Oh, you and your wishful thinking…..
You’re still smarting that:
We don’t need a green card if driving in Europe - you predicted we would.
We have a health card for use in Europe - you predicted we wouldn’t .
We didn’t lose our inclusive mobile roaming - you predicted we would.
We don't need an international driving permit - you predicted we would.
Yada yada yada…..let’s face it, your predictions aren’t worth a cup of cold pìss!

Recently travelled to Palma airport, the queue for non EU was weirdly a lot smaller than that for EU passengers, in fact we just walked straight to the passport scanners.
I was mulling over the idea to get an EU passport, but to be honest i have yet to find a trip where i would have benefitted.

You still need to obey the local laws, including re-registering your car in the country in which it is kept. And use the local testing and insuring regimes.
That didn't change with Brexit neither.

Some Brits have sold their overseas property because Brexit made it too difficult to stay so long in EU countries.
Others ignored the current laws, about re-registering cars in EU countries, and still do.
