I'm not sure you quite understood what a 3X increase in queuing time means.
But personally I can't see how a computer checking your records is going to be slower than the boarder guard manually sifting through your scruffy passport.

Strange how experts predict the opposite to you. They are looking at ways to increase throughput at main travel points I believe.
would that be those already non existent longer queues we were told brexit would bring ?
