I wonder if you and your family have ever had to depend on the doctors, schools and hospitals which us honest taxpayers provided? Or the benefitted from the factory inspectors, firemen, health visitors, free milk, public health, midwives and public libraries?
I see he evaded the question. Must be a habit.

I wonder if he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and he and his family have always used private schools and private doctors, and refused to accept the state pension?

Or maybe his family used to dip into the public purse, but now he doesn't want to put his share back?

I think you pursue this question too far.

If he is employed PAYE as I think he said, then he is paying a full whack of tax. If he then chooses to go private for other things he is relieving the public purse of thoes costs.

He has not admitted to tax-evasion.

How does this equate to dipping into the public purse but not putting his share back ?

As I have said I am paid P.A.Y.E and in the 40% tax bracket. My N.I contributions are higher than someone self employed. I cannot evade tax for that reason, I have also never claimed a single penny in benefits during my entire life.

I still maintain that benefit fraud is a worse crime than tax evasion.

And I maintain that it isn't

Tax evasion is also a bigger problem to the nation since the amount is 15 times as high.

Why is benefit fraud a worse crime than tax evasion :?: I imagine tax evasion costs more than benefit fraud.
If there are loopholes in claiming benefits or tax evasion someone somewhere will exploit them :?:

Welcome back malcolmx. Your departure didn't last long.

Since you say you are now doing homers, would you like to confirm that that were evading tax throughout your working life and screwing normal folk who paid all they had too ?

Are you too screwed now ?

Not read all this topic just this page .
Dangermouth you say you cannot evade tax because you are PAYE .
But in the combustion chamber you regularly mention fitting boilers etc that are not group service appliances or products and not your everyday job
So do you pay tax on this income or do you evade it .
Perhaps if people like you paid tax due the proper HONEST working man might not have to pay as much

Just had a quick look through the thread whats up your not posting under your other names

Throughout my working life I paid my dues and my national insurence contributions and have over the full complement of NI contributions to give me a full state pension.
And as I have said a pensioner has a tax free allowence, check it out with the Inland Revenue website, how can you ask me to confirm that I was evading tax throughout my working life when I have the full complement of NI contributions?
You only pay your tax contributions because you have to, you can't avoid paying can you?
Why have you got your knickers in such a twist about benefit fraud, if the government could stop it how would that effect you? would your tax liabilities go down :?: I dont think so.

To be quite honest I don't give two hoots about benefit fraudsters or tax evaders, as long as I can sleep in my bed at night knowing that I am on the right path and know that no one can accuse me of misdeeds why should I worry about them :?:

If I go to church and steal the Sunday collection the police will be called. If I decide not to put anything on the plate - then will the police be called? I doubt it. So which is the greater crime?

And parking offences are a bigger problem than child murder because more people commit parking offences??

You seem obsessed with numbers matey. Think of the principle will you instead of the numbers.
