No one has ever claimed that immigrants cause all our ills. It's just that a good proportion of the UK population don't want their country filled with sponging illegal aliens from the third world.

Lady died and her baby malnourished. She lost her job because her permit ran out and was trying to claim asylum instead. She relied on friends/foodbanks as can't claim jobseekers etc if 'illegal'.

The woman in the OP's post milked the system and wasn't punished. This isn't the fault of other migrants, it's the fault of hers and the system she could abuse.

The baby's father lives in the same city and is now caring for it. Where was he when the child and the mother of his child were starving? Social Services would not have placed the child with him if he was unable to support it or if they believed he was not a suitable person to look after it. You dont know the channel crossers are aware of the risks.
The gangs that set them off don't give a rat's about them ;they've already been paid. The boats are either cheap or stolen, so again of no concern to the gangs.

I think common sense would rule out going 20 odd miles on a small boat in the sea in exchange for access to the NHS.

It does bug me that the hatred is aimed at the refugees / economic migrants / asylum seeker instead of the organised crime that creates it.

I believe there are 5 beaches that are mostly used in France, I suspect the French arent as vigilant as they could be -who could blame them.
