Someone told me once that even when supermarkets run special offers (at the cost of the farmer), they don't go back to paying normal price when the promotion ends. I wonder if that's true? If so, disgraceful.

seasonal, nomadic lifestyle isnt suitable for many people.

I can cover a 50 mile radius in my job. Would you call that nomadic?

how would somebody that has a council house afford to go and then pay to rent locally to the farm?

They could be part of a team group and share the rent costs.
