The one wanting to exclude women (but there's no objection to transmen) from uisng single gender spaces.
If a transwomen feel more comfortable using a women's only space, in preference to being forced to share a toilet with other men, then they should have that right.

The women's toilets do not have to share a toilet. There are separate cubicles. The uni-sex cubicles (and many others) have floor to ceiling partitions

In sport, if there is an open class for all to enter, it's not a problem.
But sport is supposed to be about inclusivity. As soon as you start excluding some people from sport, it's lost its rasion d'etre.
They don’t have the right. Only the transactivists argue they should.

Born/real women are arguing against trans being able to use women only spaces/services. I suspect men don’t care about trans using their space

Someone who has had access to male hormones has a huge advantage in developing muscle and strength even if they later decided to replace their meat and two veg with a hamburger smash.

Squeaky wheels gets the oil.

Men & women are different. I really don't think that most men feel threatened when a woman invades our safe spaces.

This I feel is one of the fundamental basic flaws of the trans women activists arguments. They are biological males who think like biological males & cannot understand that biological females think any differently to them. I feel that the trans women who have a valid case to use womens safe spaces are just as horrified at the thought they would be sharing their safe spaces with these activists as most biological women.

I really do think that these "squeaky wheels" are nothing more than fetishist's & perverts with a handfull of misogyny thrown in.

It is associated with mental illness. I’m sure for every trans woman who is a very convincing looking woman, there are 50 who are basically dudes in frocks.

Why any bloke would want to join the long queue for the loo is beyond me.

If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.

No she doesn't.
That's her gender esentialist belief, i.e. that there are two distinct sexes, male and female, created by God, and that individuals are immutably one or the other. She argues that womanhood is immutable, fixed and anatomically derived.
That's denying the existence of trans gender people.

Of course her belief is not only wrong, she's been told many times by biologists and medical doctors, but she clings to her belief.

I think she is JohnD's guru. He certainly parodies her comments and beliefs.

In the same way, a man does not become a woman by saying "I am a woman"
In coming out socially as a women, there's not much more required intially.

Social transitioning may include things like:
1 coming out to your friends and family as transgender or nonbinary;
2 asking people to use pronouns that feel right for you;
3 going by a different name;
4 dressing/grooming in ways that feel right for you when other people can see you; and
5 using your voice differently when talking to other people.

The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women - ie, to male violence - ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences - is a nonsense.

Would you not also agree then that; if a woman feels more comfortable using a women's only space, in preference to being forced to share a toilet with other men, then they should have that right.
A woman is not forced to share a toilet with anyone, not even in uni-gender toilets.
There are cubicles in women's toilets and in uni-gender toilets.

Is this a defence that could be used in a court of law when a pervert is caught in a womens safe space???

same as men’s toilets. So what’s all the fuss about with wanting to use a ladies loo?

It’s not like they are forced to use the urinal

I thought you were supposed to have some legal background? Summer clerk?
Currently, trans people can use the toilets that correspond to their gender. This is set out in the Equality Act. Trans women do not go into toilets and assault other women. Women are not at risk from trans women. If a male sexual predator decides to go into a female toilet to commit an assault, that is a crime. He does not need to declare or pretend that he is a woman to do so.

Born/real women are arguing against trans being able to use women only spaces/services.
You should refer them to the committee report posted above.
