Unlimited immigration is a ponzi scheme.
The more people come into the country to fill existing vacancies, the more service's they need, more housing, hospitals, transport, food ect., that in turn requires even more immigration to service these needs.
We need far more, maybe a million a year.Increase immigration by how much? There are already around 1000 coming every day, and we now have 10 million of the population who were not born here. With that 10 million figure in mind why are there still unfilled jobs if migrants are the answer to unfilled jobs?
I'd be happy for the economy not to grow faster and us not be overrun.
Our last Labour government were keen to warmonger. Sadly, wars create displaced people as well as killing and maiming thousands. Last I checked were weren't at ware with anyone lately. There were 85,000 asylum seeker claims in 2003
Afghanistan counts and they make up a significant chunk of current asylum seekers. Our last Labour government were keen to warmonger. Sadly, wars create displaced people as well as killing and maiming thousands. Last I checked were weren't at ware with anyone lately.
But UK wants to be responsible for what goes on in France.French are responsible for what goes on in France
Trolls gotta troll.( scoundrels)
Ahh the old, 'asking for a friend'.a close friend of mine sees first hand who these people are,
It's a sad day when even the intelligent right-wingers resort to ad hominem abuse and insults.I think it’s reasonable to conclude pat ex is “ex pat” possibly living in France. Pat ex doesn’t care about the U.K. as long as he can pop back for NHS treatment and moan about how Brexit forced him to do some paperwork.
They have to detect, catch the boats first. Not easy on the northern French coast. There's loads of media reports about the difficulties which you choose to ignore. It is already a requirement for vessels over 2.5m to be registered in France. Not to mention all the other legal requirements of operating a passenger vessel. It would help if the French authorities intercepted them and enforced their own laws
200,000 Ukrainians in 3 months was no problem."Like we used to"? When, exactly? Did we 'used to' have 40,000 + per year crossing the channel in boats to process?
Andy11 has offered to fill their ranks and use barbaric force.I wonder how long it will be before the 'frothing at mouths' brexiteers suggest that the SAS use their inflatables to intercept the migrant's inflatables?
And you think this is an acceptable behaviour? In other countries the receiver pushes them back in a game of maritime tennis and hands the problem back.
I don't feel the need to invent friends to inflate the credibility of my arguments. My friends are fully capable of their making their own arguments. Some on here have to
