They are different police forces.

But let’s take a look at the question you tried to ask.

Do you think consulting stakeholders, writing policies, taking feedback etc are things the police do where there is no need?

Do you think people fund judicial reviews where there is nothing going on?

The fact is people can see this is a wedge in to people’s human rights and it will spread like a virus unchecked.

Need to take a more simplistic / common sense approach

If some one has penis they get stripped searched by a male officer

If some one has a vagina they get stripped searched by a female officer

That’s it and all about it (simples)

If some bloke has had a sec change op than he / she can choose

The Uk needs to start coming to terms that the lunatics are attempting to take over the asylum

I've just read an article about someone transitioning from being a woman to a man.

Wrong.

They've transitioned from being a woman to a trans man.

In the true sense, a woman can never be a man, a man can never be a woman.
 
Trans Males should only be allowed to search other trans males.
Males should only search other males.
Females should only search other females.

The same should apply to sport as well.

If we going this far what about nursing and other medical staff?
Should only male nurses deal with male patients? Should only female nurses deal with female patients? Etc.

I've just spent a month of daily visits to have the 'ray gun' pointed at my nether regions - treated by both male and female nurses - was I worried/excited/embarrassed because my 'family jewels' could (& would) be seen by a nurse of either sex? No. If anything I'd probably more embarrassed/upset by being handled by a male medical person.

AFAICS - the people doing the most protesting are the people most likely to be nar-do-wells or their supporters.
