In addition the current "connection" clause in the EU's asylum system means that only people from Rwanda, or those with some social connection with Rwanda could be sent to Rwanda for processing.
In about 15 months of 2022 - 23 there were 21 asylum applications (to UK) from people from Rwanda .
So not a lot of cases would be processed in Rwanda. And if any were successful, the asylum seekers would be allowed to re-enter Germany.
