There is a defence politician that emphatically says we should get directly involved asap. However I have spotted what seems to be a fact. A few Tory make noises about things that there is no intention of doing so supporters that want them to happen are "happier".

On the other hand one of the reasons mentioned about getting rid of Boris is that the PM may need to instruct us to do that or also yet more austerity etc for one reason or another.

I heard an account from a Ukrainian soldier. Volunteer. Fought for one week and a ricochet hit his arm narrowly missing an artery. He's lucky. Traumatised and will be fighting again. There was so many of them and the fighting was ferocious. When I was rather young I had a very old grandfather who fought in the trenches. I've heard all about it before. If only we could avoid it. I'd been playing with toy soldiers. In some respects he was horrified.

Why o why don't we have a neutral observer in Ukraine overseeing ceasefire situations which is also beamed live to the UN via drone footage so the world can see humanitarian corridor protocol is followed.

I just read that the steelworks in Mariupol doesn't just have tunnels - it has a "city" under it.

6 layers deep, 3m of concrete between levels, and 11 sq km.
That's real bugger if you forget where you parked your car.

I was curious to see how recent this sort of thing was. Looks like they have kept up tradition going on some interviews of the rather young. Shoot and fight via a summer camp. It seems some people have been shot there going on recent reports. They are having problems N of Kyev with unexploded stuff from both sides also things like a Russian tank takes of and some one sticks and anti tank mine where it has passed. Both sides have probably used mines.

Those and some other battalion have been mentioned. Russia says they wont be harmed if they surrender. From old stuff I don't think there is much doubt that the Azov lot deserved to be called terrorists or some of the other groups that used to be about. All blurred now so who knows. It seems the troops that are holding them there are Donbas separatists. Doesn't sound like a good mix. Going on Russian clips Chechens too. Doubt if they are the extreme Moslem types but one was found on Ukraine's side. Extreme - pass but they don't like Russians. Maybe both types aren't always controllable.

We just get what some one chooses to show Satellite or drone. Latest is some rather neat graves near Mariupol. Satellite by the look of it. Reporters have said most footage is provided by Kyev. Past that it depends on where reporters can go. They are sometime told not to show or discuss some things. Critical aspects as would be expected. Both sides are under martial law. War is simple to some extent kill or be killed.

All sorts are possible. Afraid we will have to wait and see. It seems the UK has been mentioned by Russia more than once. Even by Putin. Unusual. One seems to be a pundit on TV there reckoning that we are plotting a nuclear strike. Oddly around the same time reports of gov computers etc being hacked that might just be phones - as the USA did with some EU heads. Maybe our gov too. I'm glad I have a Chinese phone.
