So some countries grind to a halt if they stop buying the stuff - just what do you expect them to do. The others will gain political points but will respect that. It seems Biden's 6 months of oil supply from reserves will cover what they bought off Russia. Gives them time to find alternatives.

So load up a train full of tanks - what do you think would happen to it when it reached Ukraine. Last comment about extra weapons being sent was they hadn't got there. Some difficulties.

I can say that Ben Wallace announced on 18th Jan we were sending 'light armour defensive weapons' to Ukraine as well as troops to instruct on their usage. That was several weeks before Germany sent them 'helmets' and at least a month before they offered to send them rockets, until they discovered they were unstable as they has been lying around since the iron curtain days, last I heard France is reluctant to provide details of anything sent to Ukraine to avoid provoking Russia. (white flag emoji).

John, Zelensky is saying that Scholz is a ***t, Macron is a ***t, but Boris is a hero to Ukraine. If you're saying Zelensky is a liar then you're clearly a Putin supporter.

I happened to know enough to detect fillygone's false claim. Which was untrue. And which he admits he made with no evidence or research.

Actually both the USA and UK have trained troops to use their bits recently. Go back to 2014 and both have been training troops in certain aspects of fighting for some time.

If you look at the weapons that have been sent they aren't capable of defending them from everything that Russia can send at them and are described as being purely defensive and having range limited. Is this to avoid provoking Russia? Some are questioning this aspect now but rather late. They have had 8 years to train and supply all sorts so why haven;t they? There will be reasons. A fly on the wall at the right time and in the right place may know what they are but various countries will probably stick to them what ever is said.
