You are wrong

I'm not surprised to see that you admit you posted your nonsense without finding out if it was true (it wasn't)

Did you think you'd get away with that?

Obviusly you won't want to research the depths of your ignorance

You won't even want to read https://researchbriefings.files.parliament.uk/documents/CBP-9477/CBP-9477.pdf

I did however research the depth of your ignorance. Turkey were sending drones to Ukraine long before the 2nd invasion. And thank you for providing documentary evidence of my assertion.

France Before Russia’s military operations started in Ukraine France had only provided humanitarian aid and budgetary support. On 25 February, France’s President Macron told the French Parliament that the country will now provide defensive equipment to Ukraine, but did not detail what the equipment would be.90 Ukraine's embassy in Paris said it had in particular requested anti-aircraft hardware. 91 Macron wrote that France will provide Ukraine with an “additional budgetary assistance of 300 million euros” and “will provide the defensive material they need".92 France is a NATO member.

No disclosure as what they've sent, clearly it's f**k all otherwise Zelensky might have given then a passing 'thanks' rather than berating them for doing **** all while still buying Russian gas.

Germany Before Russian military action Germany stated in January 2022 that it would not meet a request from the Ukrainian government for the transfer of lethal weaponry amid concerns that it would provoke Russia and hamper the diplomatic process.93 Germany also refused to grant permits to other EU countries such Estonia to export German-origin weapons like artillery,94 as well as vetoing Ukraine’s purchase of anti-drone rifles and anti-sniper systems via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.9

Oops, another f**k all.

JohnD, you love and support the EU therefore you are a Putin puppet, a useful idiot for the Russians, shame on you.

I do hate hypocrisy John and you are full of it.

If they're true to form with what they did in the Falklands war they're probably still upgrading them now. Scoundrels.

Exactly.

blimey eager to flog the Argentines anti ship missiles to takeout UK ships

I'm pretty sure the sold those before the Falklands. Of interest. When the UK sunk one of their ships they didn't bother using an expensive torpedo. Old stuff was adequate.

They had a team of technicians troubleshooting problems with the system during the conflict, it's well documented John, as I'm sure you know.

LONDON -- French technicians helped Argentina fit Exocet missiles -- which sank two British ships in the Falkland Islands war - despite assurances from France that it had cut off all military aid, the London Sunday Times reported.

The newspaper based its report on an interview with Herve Colen, a technical expert with Dassault Aviation, the manufacturers of the French Super Etendard jets that fire the Exocet missiles.

The sea-skimming missiles were viewed as one of Argentina's major weapons in the 10-week Falklands war. They were used to sink Britain's HMS Sheffield and the requisitioned Cunard vessel, the Atlantic Conveyor.

The Sunday Times reported that a 9-member French technical team remained in Argentina throughout the conflict and helped fit and test the recently purchased Super Etendard's with the missiles after the outbreak of hostilities between Britain and Argentina April 2.

The French technical aides discovered three faults with the Super Etendards that they proceeded to correct, Colen told the newspaper.

The newspaper said Britain had assumed the jet fighters would not be a threat because French President Francois Mitterrand had prevented a technical team from the Exocet manufacturer, Aerospatiale, from traveling to Argentina to complete the fitting and testing work.

Colen and other members of his team performed the job anyway, the Sunday Times said.

'We had a contract for a year of technical assistance which began last November, and we are fulfilling the terms of our contract,' Colen told the newspaper.

The Sunday Times said the French defense mininstry expressed surprise and disbelief when told of its report. Dassault Aviation said it wasn't possible to give technical assistance to Argentina during the Falklands conflict.

Colen told the Sunday Times that neither the French government nor Dassault ordered them to pull out of Argentina.

Twenty British officers and men were killed in the May 4 sinking of the Sheffield, Britain's first major setback on the Falklands. On May 25, 12 died when the Atlantic Conveyor was bombed.

John Nott had this to say:

Former defence secretary John Nott wrote in his memoirs that France was Britain's "greatest ally" during the conflict, but slammed the nation after being presented with new evidence.

"We asked (former French president Francois) Mitterrand not to give assistance to the Argentinians," Nott told the BBC investigation, which was broadcast on Radio 4.

"If you're asking me: 'Are the French duplicitous people?' the answer is: 'Of course they are, and they always have been'," he added.

He probably went on to call them scoundrels.

did Fillyboy vote for Putins Brexit…..oh yes he did.

I missed that. I do know they had the kit earlier as what kit they had was discussed. The wiki waters it down somewhat. We knew.
The French president, François Mitterrand, declared an embargo on French arms sales and assistance to Argentina.[169] In addition, France allowed UK aircraft and warships use of its port and airfield facilities at Dakar in Senegal[170] and France provided dissimilar aircraft training so that Harrier pilots could train against the French aircraft used by Argentina.[171] French intelligence also cooperated with Britain to prevent Argentina from obtaining more Exocet missiles on the international market.[172] In a 2002 interview, and in reference to this support, John Nott, the then British Defence Secretary, had described France as Britain's 'greatest ally'. In 2012, it came to light that while this support was taking place, a French technical team, employed by Dassault and already in Argentina, remained there throughout the war despite the presidential decree. The team had provided material support to the Argentines, identifying and fixing faults in Exocet missile launchers. John Nott said he had known the French team was there but said its work was thought not to be of any importance. An adviser to the then French government denied any knowledge at the time that the technical team was there. The French DGSE did know the team was there as they had an informant in the team but decried any assistance the team gave: "It's bordering on an act of treason, or disobedience to an embargo". John Nott, when asked if he felt let down by the French said "If you're asking me: 'Are the French duplicitous people?' the answer is: 'Of course they are, and they always have been".[169]

TBH it sounds like one of those things that shouldn't have got out to me. From this it sounds like how many they had was known and use not fully sorted out

duplicitous people - When it comes to arms I think that could be said of a number of countries. In time I have a feeling that some odd aspects about Ukraine may come out or be wondered about.

A report in the i
Citing a Russian document dated September 2021

giving its troops instructions on how to prepare mass civilian graves ??

Sergej Sumlenny (?) former director of the Heinrich boll think tank ( affiliated to the German Green Party) stated that the document showed evidence (?) that Russia had planned to take Kyiv in 3days (?) and force the Ukraine to capitulate and was planning a genocide of a scale not seen since WW 2 (?)

he claims Russian army units were to be followed by thousands of riot police and the Russian army had 45000 body bags and brought mobile crematoria (?)

????

Oh dear. Putin will be dancing about that. A split in NATO is just what he wants.

As agreed by NATO / UN I wonder what effect they will have - bit of a political action maybe. They need fuel and where they will be going in is a long way from where the action is.

There are these as well. Probably others too

The Ukrainians have several makes of antitank missiles even it seems some from Germany.

:( Talk about the ICC. Not all countries agree with it and elements of don't point that at us even by the USA. Seems there is more evidence of executions. TBH I don't see how building damage can really figure when both sides have been hitting it. ICC say it will take a long time and much work done by Ukraine.
