I have absolutely zero evidence for this before the usual suspects ask for proof and references, it's just a feeling I have, that in decades gone by this sort of stuff (from relatively innocent flirting up to obvious sexual harassment and worse) must have been rife across the entertainment industry and of course beyond. Further, you'd have to be at best misinformed not to think it was still going on today. Perhaps to a lesser degree yes, but it'll still be happening.
Bear in mind they're in showbusiness, a lot of them when off-stage/camera will be abhorrent individuals.

Really shocked to learn about Russell Brand... I had no idea he was a comedian!
It is when you factor in all the commentators who pronounce innocent till proven guilty.
