They Shoot Horses, don't they?

This is Britain, death has been made a lifestyle choice, people will come to see it as normal behaviour and pressures on the nhs will create opportunities for the private sector. It will inevitably be extended. Whats the difference between a suicidal individual and a suicidal individual with terminal cancer?
So it hasnt happened elsewhere but you know it will here. ok

It's already happening, children with disabilities can be aborted up to full term
I bet if you had a severely disabled child needing 24 hour care you wouldn't be looking after it

Your ideological position on abortion and assisted dying is based in rank stupidity............I bet you are a Catholic Unionist

What right has society to criminalise some forms of suicide and encourage or assist others?
What right does society (the public) have to decide what somebody with a terminal illness has to endure ?

What is wrong with having the choice. It isn't compulsory.

assisted dying is not suicide, please avoid emotive language.

it will only be available to people who are terminally ill, it gives the opportunity for somebody to have a dignified death instead of suffering terribly

Vast majority of abortions have nothing to do with rape or incest.
the vast majority of abortions have nothing to do with

children with disabilities

so why are you using a strawman argument

the vast majority of abortions are young women who had sex and got pregnant and dont want a baby until they are older..................only idiots want to force them to have a baby.

Whatever language you use the killing of born and unborn is now legal. The argument is essentially that the state shouldn’t interfere with the exercise of personal morality, so it can only be a matter of time before the law extends to children and the mentally incapacitated
An inverted reference to Godwin's Law, i think. Eugenics is a failed experiment and i do not feel the current government is about to renew the experiment...now, or in the future.

thats not the way it works
The nhs bureaucrats are waiting to write tne policies. It is inevitable that there will be a section in nhs england website, reams of guidance issued to hospitals gp surgeries social services, hospices etc etc. And that means these bodies will be under a duty to make the options known, in effect to offer it.

Disagree.

It hasn't got enough staff as it is. It's just conjecture with no basis
