Unfortunately the days of Ukraine being able to push Russia back to 2014 territorial position are long gone.

Has he actually said what this thread heading says or are some just thinking about complications of forcing an end to the war?

Trump will be played by russsia and others. Have to remember when he says America’s interests he pretty much means his own

He was going to stop the Ukraine conflict within 24hrs. Does anyone know which 24hrs he meant?

he doesn't take charge until Jan 20th next year - he may well pre arrange a deal that will take place on that day

poor Zelensky, poor Ukraine. they deserve better

Plays to the gallery
What he says and what he does are 2 different things

Reality begins to dawn on the bloke ;)

By your logic, Pootin can do what he wants, as far as he wants.
I don't agree with your logic.
I asked a question, your answer was you don't agree. Thats a funny answer... not a funny ha ha answer you understand.

So again.

Under what scenario could Ukraine have defeated Russia that would not have resulted in WW3.

Russia hoped to defeat Ukraine in days. Fortunately that didn't happen.
Ukraine has been given a lot of weapons to push Russia out, it hasn't happened.
Every time Ukraine notches up, Russia notches up again.

I cannot see a scenario where Ukraine defeats Russia. That is not to say I do not want them to. I do, I really hoped they could.

Yep Russia pulls out of Ukraine taking us back to 2014 map. That would be my definition of a Ukraine win. Frankly the loss of Crimea would still be a win for them.

There was a time when they were making very good progress. But I can't see it now.

of course any settlement could involve damages/reparations
