How Russia weaponizes the language issue in Ukraine
It is the Ukranian nationalists who are weaponising language.
They are making Ukranian compulsory for all school children.
Previously, minorities could be taught in their own language, it isn't just Russians other minorities, Poles, Hungerians and Taters.are being targeted.

Vinty is filled with hate and likes to post things that match his warped world view.
Statement of fact.
The EU will never be a viable political entity because they will need gas from Russia or gas from America to keep the factories open.
As far as i can see all the EU has achieved is to flood Europe with cheap labour and start wars in the East.

2 ways of looking at it. Russian is widely used in some areas. Odessa is reckoned to be one of them. They want one language. A survey showed ~30% see Russian as their native language.

According to the constitution, the state language of Ukraine is Ukrainian.[328] Russian is widely spoken, especially in eastern and southern Ukraine.[328] According to the 2001 census, 67.5 percent of the population declared Ukrainian as their native language and 29.6 percent declared Russian.[329] Most native Ukrainian speakers know Russian as a second language.[328] Russian was the de facto dominant language of the Soviet Union but Ukrainian also held official status[330] and in the schools of the Ukrainian SSR learning Ukrainian was mandatory.

There has been comments that kids are told that if the Russians come they wont be able to read and write Ukrainian. That doesn't fit in with when they were an SSR.

Effective in August 2012, a new law on regional languages entitles any local language spoken by at least a 10 percent minority be declared official within that area.[331] Russian was within weeks declared as a regional language in several southern and eastern oblasts (provinces) and cities.[332] Russian can now be used in these cities'/oblasts' administrative office work and documents

In February 2019, the law allowing for official use of regional languages was found unconstitutional.[338] According to the Council of Europe, this act fails to achieve fair protection of the linguistic rights of minorities.[339]

In some areas such as Crimea Russian is more dominant,
Russian speakers constitute an overwhelming majority of the Crimean population (77 percent), with Crimean Tatar speakers 11.4 percent and Ukrainian speakers comprising just 10.1 percent.[349] But in everyday life the majority of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in Crimea use Russian.[350]

Lots of people speak English.

Is England therefore entitled to invade and annexe the countries they live in?

ideal for hitting / destroying underground targets ?

That is what they have hit with one. There are reports of another maybe 2 today and cruise strikes.. AlJ can't confirm any of them as reported by Russia. One has partly been by saying no idea what hit it.

Less info coming out for some reason ??? Pass but there have been a couple of cases where Ukraine may not have wanted reporters cameras there. One definite as was mentioned. Some AlJ damage reports have changed a bit by saying this is one of the most damaged areas. Footage provided from Kiev has also been mentioned. I have noticed plenty of OK buildings being passed when reporters are driving nearer the "fonts".

Underground etc.Going on Iraq missiles etc can be design to penetrate and explode later rather than on impact. That contains the explosion which will increase damage.

and from the link that Vinty posted https://freedomhouse.org/article/ukraines-education-law-may-needlessly-harm-european-aspirations#:~:text=Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, secondary schools beginning in 2020.

Under the law, which President Petro Poroshenko signed on September 25, kindergartens and elementary schools will remain free to instruct children in the minority language of their choice. As students enter secondary schooling—typically at age 10—the language of instruction will shift to Ukrainian, with minority languages continuing to be taught as separate classes. If the minority language is a European Union (EU) language, as most are, additional classes will be offered in that language through high school.

While the law applies to most minority-language schools, it will not affect secondary schools instructing in a handful of recognized indigenous languages, like Crimean Tatar. Furthermore, a former justice minister confirmed that nothing in the new Law on Education prohibits the private funding of schools that teach in minority languages.

I expected peace to break out by now.
Sadly, Putin is insane.
The leader of Ukraine has massive rhetoric but knows he is losing hence not joining nATO
Other compromises needed why wait nad have many more people killed/etc and lose homes etc.

The longer this goes on the more of risk of a WMD being used EG bio bomb on a week where winds are east to west
and the fall out to reach the uk and Russians are blamed and they blame the usa but it could be someone else that
hates all of them that does that ie a pretend frined of one or both

Another fear I have is a suitcase bomb goes off in the uk, Russians blamed but again it could be someone that hates the uk/russia etc

Much can go wrong so peace, ceasfire is required and Putin and his cronies need to be disposed of
and the uk/USA to stop the ****-stirring in Ukraine and other places

Many of the pro-Russian population in the Ukraine are appalled by the in-humanity of the Russian military command.

So much so that they are changing their opinion of being part of Russia and moving their alliance to the Ukrainian way of life.

Many pro_Russian people have been killed by the military of the country they supported.

The Falklands are majority English speaking, therefor the Falklands war was a legitimate assertion of sovereignty.

silly Putineer vinty makes another untrue assertion.

Vinty says schools in England are weaponising language because English is taught as a first language.
Vinty says France is weaponising language because French is taught as a first language.
Vinty say Germany is weaponising language because German is taught as a first language.
