The Jews accepted the UN offer, as it was vague, and suited their eventual desires.
The Arab nations collectively offered an alternative, allowing Jews that were already settled in Palestine to remain and have their own state.
The Jews rejected that because their plan was always mass imigration of Jews, and occupation of more land.
The collective Arab voice was ignored, in favour of the few Zionist Jews' voice.
The result was the UN resolution heavily favouring the Jews, and disproportionately disfavouring the Palestinians.

But then despite the Jews saying they would accept the UN resolution, they effectively ignored it and took control of Jerusalem, and forcibly evicted 700,000 Palestinians from the area around Jaffa.
The UN resolution never gave them authority for that.
So, no, the Jews did not accept the UN resolution, they claim to have done so, but effectively ignored it.

But then despite the Jews saying they would accept the UN resolution,
There has been talk recently that this UN resolution included separate states. Might be best to sort the actual resolution out however there is already a separate state aspect. The Gaza Strip and the West Bank. However Israel annexed the West Bank ~60's and earned a UN black mark for doing so. The action is illegal under international law. Where the Strip fits into this pass but it seems Israel has controlled it in the past and later bowed out, There has been mention of them controlling it again but the USA favour the political party that runs the West Bank. There hasn't been an election held there for some time. Hamas might get elected.

So Israel starts settling in the West Bank. This should have stopped but seems it hasn't. They have a cute way of bulldozing Palestinian houses. One is semi legal. In order to build a house a Palestinian has to apply for permission. Seems only 2% of applications are accepted. One was bulldozed the other day. Been there for 30 years but no permission. It's near an Israel settlement, It seems this year sets a new record - 127 bulldozed. Bulldozers are also used to rip up roads when the IDF feels like having a raid. That is oppression. Also someone turning up and drilling a few holes in a house's walls - an indication that it may get bulldoze.

One is semi legal.
It contravenes international law for an occupying force to relocate its citizens in the occupied territory, or to allow its citizens to voluntarily settle in the occupied territory.

and

Latest is an Israeli minister talking about settlements in the West Bank and encouraging Palestinians to emigrate. Seems it's a nice place but poor and they can make it prosperous etc.

The same minister is involved in West Bank settlements. He's one himself.

So the Israelites invented defenestration? That is so similar to being thrown off a roof. It's obvious where they got the idea from. ;)
Ultimately, however, faith in Yahweh proved too entrenched to erase: Ahab’s dynasty was deposed and Jezebel died by defenestration — that is, being thrown out of a window.

I guess not. Easier without glass to smash through first.
Even the name 'Yahweh' is a guess. Nobody knows the way of würd or sound of the name.

The article was relevant to the persistent claims of Filly.B, that "Israel was there first" when, in truth, the proto-Israelite tribes wandered about the Arabian peninsula for centuries before migrations from the Horn of Africa pushed them north into Canaan and then into the Sinai.

Jenin, occupied West Bank – The inside of Bassem Tahayneh’s home in the Jenin refugee camp appears as though a tornado had blown through it.
The ceiling-high closets inside his daughter’s bedroom were brought down face-first on top of the beds; his four TV screens were pulled off the walls and smashed; the tiles on the floors were ripped off, and wires connecting the house to the power grid were cut.

“The army stood at the entrance to the neighbourhood and started shouting through the speakers: ‘All of the people in this neighbourhood, you have 10 minutes to leave your homes. We will shell all the homes,’” he recalled.

Israel’s policy of demolishing the family homes of Palestinians accused of attacking Israelis is considered a war crime.

Ramallah – At dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces stormed Ramallah city in the occupied West Bank and blew up the family home of a Palestinian prisoner. According to residents, the Israelis spent hours planting explosives that later pulverised the Faroukh family’s apartment.

Video footage of the operation showed soldiers painstakingly planting explosives in the walls of the home before the massive blast that turned the spacious apartment to ruins and rubble, while also blowing out the windows of homes in the neighbourhood. Demolishing the homes of Palestinians “suspected of carrying out attacks” on Israelis is a long-held practice of Israel. Thousands of Palestinian people have lost their homes to demolitions in what human rights groups say is a policy by Israel of “collective punishment” that may amount to war crimes.

“International humanitarian law, including the Hague Regulations of 1907 and the Fourth Geneva Convention, prohibits collective punishment, including deliberately harming the relatives of those accused of committing crimes, in all circumstances,” Human Rights Watch said in February (2023). The family tried to appeal the demolition order to Israel’s High Court of Justice, seeking to have their homes sealed rather than destroyed, but to no avail.

Israeli soldiers also targeted journalists who were present and covering the Ramallah raid. Palestinian photojournalist Moamen Samreen was shot in the head by a rubber-tipped bullet and was taken to hospital, and Rabih al-Munir, also a photojournalist, was hit in the abdomen by a rubber-coated metal bullet. “The Israeli occupation deliberately targets journalists directly. It was clear to everyone that we were journalists and Moamen was wearing his press vest, yet he was targeted,” his uncle said.

It's OK to bomb a UN school, though?

The UN thinks not.

"The UN’s Secretary-General António Guterres reiterated his call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in a statement on Sunday.

“I am deeply shocked that two UNRWA schools were struck in less than 24 hours in Gaza. Dozens of people – many women and children – were killed and injured as they were seeking safety in United Nations premises,” Guterres said."
