Vive La France!

"What could be simpler than that?"

Have you ever argued the point with your Evangelical friends in the past?

I try to avoid such conversations along with the age of the universe etc.

People are entitled to their opinions, it's an issue when they want to impose them on others. I think (and have said) that the current regime in the UK is fine and its better than in France. The woman has more time and no risk of a bill.

But the earlier a termination is done the better. Fortunately 89% are done in the first 10 weeks. I see no need to reduce the time limit because of the statistics. The system is working very well.

In #480 you finally seemed to understand that the woman requesting an abortion is not subject to seeking approval from 2 doctors.
I never said she was. Show me where I said otherwise (he cant, he wont) .Why do you keep deflecting with bullshít and waffle?
I said a woman needs the approval or sign off (UK) of two doctors for the abortion to be legal. After which you erupted with utter bull.

Ahh but you did
For the clueless forum idiot,

Here are the key restrictions regarding who can have an abortion in the United Kingdom:
  1. Two Doctors’ Approval:
    • For legal abortions, two doctors must agree that the criteria for abortion are met.
    • One doctor can approve in cases of emergency.

are you done spinning?

Not without prior approval (from two doctors unless its an emergency) otherwise she could be prosecuted. More flexible my arse. Post #432

In 2021 87% of terminations were induced by pills rather than surgery, up 40% in a decade. During the pandemic these abortion pills could be obtained via telemedical appointments - a temporary measure that became permanent in 2022, thanks to feminist lobbying.

As you've already pointed out, buying drugs online is not difficult - so the system is open to abuse. A woman could circumvent any telemedical appointment and make her own mind up, as she does with birth control....without consent or even prior knowledge of the man responsible for putting her 'in the club' in the first place.

Where’s the spin?

Noseall never suggested doctors have a right to make a moral judgement.

You might not like but abortion requires approval 2 doctors, that’s just fact.

You are using a strawman by claiming drs only job is to confirm legal compliance

I think he's seriously lost his marbles.

Since I educated him about UK law, I.e that for abortions to be legal in the UK, they need the sign off of two doctors.

Since then he's had a breakdown. His twisted mind somehow thinks that means that a woman must have the two doctors thing to seek an abortion.

No idea where he hallucinate that. Certainly not in anything I have posted.

Please provide the text in law that states two doctors are required to give an approval.
