What have you been doing today?

How do you quantify it? That statement is ambiguous and open to interpretation. Also, the threshold for qualifying was £50k and the amounts awarded relative to your profits.

I don't know. But your not going to win if their interpretation is different to yours. To be on the safe side I'd just put it away and see what happens.

Checking my emails this morning, one from Hive telling me the batteries in my thermostat were getting low, whatever next?

I'll spend mine on beer and hookers and waste the rest.

Andy

That would be very magnaminous of you because they can't get government help.

Considering they don't declare their earnings, so don't pay tax/NI, why should they get help?
The next thing you know is drug barons will be claiming they are losing money because their clients, (schoolkids), have not been able to purchase their goods!

I'll bet kidnappers are struggling too, what with social distancing.
I mean, how are you supposed to bundle someone into the back of your van from 2 metres? With a chair and whip, like a lion tamer? :ROFLMAO:

Been doing a lot of sanding and staining to produce this from a slab of sycamore I picked up yesterday.
The original surface was full of ridges made when being cut. Belt sander seen to them and then a few hours of orbital sanding working up through the grades to finish with a fine 240 grit. Couple of coats of stain and I now have a very happy wife.
Original intention was to use it for blanks in my lathe but that soon got the kybosh when my good lady seen the patterns and suggested a nice table top for the patio. Have to admit I'm quite pleased with the result.
(There are hidden fixings underneath to prevent it being knocked off but it weighs a bloody ton anyway! LOL)
