At that mileage there will be considerable piston and cylinder wear too. I wouldn't spend anything on it, personally.

They are clearly not.I believe the internals of my cars' engine are fine.
So far it’s had a new alternator, needs a new drive shaft and bearing, possibly needs a new hub bearing and calliper, piston rings are letting by, sump plug is cross threaded, turbo might be on the way out, and it’s done 200k miles.hi
I understand your advice but this car has been very well maintained and serviced regulary.
The power is all there , no power loss. Many modern cars can remain healthy well above 200 k on the clock and I believe the internals of my cars' engine are fine.
If I did not think the car was in good condition overall I would not be considering replacing the turbo if needs be.
If anything I think it is turbo related and I will do it myself if so. It will cost around £200 and I see it as worth it. I do understand you both entirely and I am not dismissing anything that you guy's so, you gave me advice and I really appreciete it but I feel the car is worth saving if it is only the turbo at fault.
Besides, if I was to sell it with a suspected turbo failing at the beginning stages I would probably have to reduce the price by £300, so it will cost me if I do and cost me if I don't
( I am an honest person I would definately not sell it without informing the buyer )

Sounds like it’s worn out and you’re planning on spening more money on parts than it would cost you to buy a lower mileage car in better condition.

would you like to help other than critisise me, people are being civil atm do not come here stirring things up pleaseHonestly reading through this post there is truth in the fact that you can’t educate pork lol
buy a new car

If you want to sort the turbo - bearing in mind we have no idea just how good (or bad) it is at the moment......take a tip?
Don't buy a second hand one from a breakers - they are junk
It's likely the exhaust manifold will come off too, so get a gasket set
Cheap turbos will be 'remanufactured' but to what standard
Consider having the original one repaired by the likes of turbotechnics - or similar.
John
P.S. We are only concerned that you will spend a bomb on this car - which is in fact worth very little - and something major will fail next. Many of us have been down this road!
