Who started the riots with misinformation? A white right winger? Nah!

There’s a couple million in Romania, but I get your point.
Most countries have them. Traditionally they are nomadic but don't like being called gypsies. It's easy to confuse the 2. DNA puts their origins in India. This gives an idea of distribution., They have been around for rather a long time.

This is the traditional way they move around. Curiously I saw one a few years ago

So pretend all are immigrants if you like.

You’ve taken my post the wrong way.

I was saying it’s easy enough to assume, but it’s not the actual case.

Roma which have nothing to do with Romania. Nothing at all.
you talk utter nonsense

Yes, it is a coincidence that the Roma migrated to Romania, but the names have different origins.

However the Roma migrated there from Northern India centuries a ago and since It has been home to a significant population of Roma, and today, Romania has one of the largest Roma populations in Europe. So to say the Roma have nothing to do with Romania is nonsense

From various Romanians who I have met (who invariably are lovely very hard working people) - they don't seem too keen on the Roma (and that is being charitable)

An estimate of 575,000 to 1, 850,000, based on a 2010 figure:

I'm going to give a rather strange analogy.

Do any of you remember the MP expenses scandal a good few years back? Some MPs were found to be claiming expenses for all sorts of weird and wonderful things. I think one even claimed for a bird table!

I never particularly blamed the individual MPs. Sure, there's the moral argument re should they have done it. However I did blame those who'd drawn up the actual policy/system that enabled MPs to claim for non work related and unusual stuff.

To me, the migrant thing is similar. Farage, Yaxley-Lennon, Hopkins etc are more than happy to spout a narrative that blames the migrants themselves. I don't particularly blame the migrants in the same way I didn't blame the MPs. I do however blame governments around the world for failing to get to grips with the situation.

How do you get to grips with internal violent insurgents?
How do you get to grips with climate induced famine?
How do you get to grips with sea water reducing the habitable land?
How do you get to grips with rich countries telling you you mustn't cut down any more trees?
etc.

Doesn't suit the narrative though.

Stop the boats ! Stop the boats !

Great. How

And here

Nasty,

Are those links for crimes committed on a woman accompanied by their child by three brothers carrying knives and stun guns who also assaulted an emergency worker? No. Hardly the same then. If you’re going to try to show equivalence, show it, not something entirely different.
