Mates rates can work out the most expensive….for the tradesman
Agree. Often problems doing things for friends and family. I only really get involved if it's a dire emergency.

Private/Public (not including civil service pensions) pensions are funded differently to state pensions. They are funded by interest and dividends, etc on invested funding.
State pensions are funded from current tax and NI payments from current tax and NI payers.
Pay rises are needed to offset the price increases due to inflation. Tory had their natural ones in the general population. A lot of the state side has been clamped down for a long time. Others have as well. What happens eventually - as you may have noticed strikes. The min wage went up by a high %. That will cause inflation. Other increases will as well. This doesn't apply to the state but is their a need to keep them happy? They need to keep people just as any wage payer does. In this particular state increase it included the need for a 2% cut in back office costs. That will happen. Things like this are often forced. Starmer as a mandarin saw one through. Under Blair a lot of DWP people lost their jobs.increase expenditure on public service pay by far more then would be saved does not look good, prudent or even sensible.
There's more groups than just oaps though. This one is not going away soon.
Labour MPs 'shocked' at no full winter fuel assessment
Labour MPs are not speaking out publicly despite concerns, as some hope mitigations will come in the Budget next month.www.bbc.co.uk
Their report suggested 3,850 deaths now we learn that no impact assessment was made. Frightening how this could be actual government policy and to ignore the effect on protected groups.
That's good. And proves the point that not all pensioners need itMy mother-in-law use to give hers to homeless charities.
Why was that report produced? May wondering about ending WFP.. Politics never have any effects on this sort of thing do they?Their report suggested 3,850 deaths
global warming no doubtWell in 2017 the Labour Party under Corbyn in which starmer was a shadow cabinet member
Commissioned a report as to what could happen if the fuel allowance was stopped / cut
There was a rumour (?) that the tories were looking at doing so ??
There conclusion was that it would cause 4000 deaths
Things must have obviously changed now
It does look to be that way and unfortunately opposition parties aren't fond of having grown up conversations. There was a rumour (?) that the tories were looking at doing so ??
Quite simple Carmen stop giving billions to your union mates. They can do that with no extra money coming in.
Its not the Tory way it is how Labour are running the country.
