Budget

…..but of course Aveatry falsely claims these people have plenty of money they just need to “cut down on their Netflix” or “they have the latest iPhone”.

If he does actually believe that, he may be right. There's a new ad on tv about people in 'data poverty'. WTF???

They've just invented a new definition of poverty. It's for people who may well have the latest iphone, but lack the necessary to pay for it's connection. About as vital as someone being in 'fuel poverty' - meaning they can't afford the unleaded for their 5 Series Beemer.

Imagine people in freezing, damp lice-infested Victorian slums, no food, no coal, etc. They would love to only have to worry about where their next megabyte is coming from so they can update their 1340 'friends' on social media.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

It’s not a lie.

You think people on benefits have Netflix, fancy iPhones and drive upto food banks in range rovers

Yep I stand by that or at least the notion that they would be far better off if people stopped paying out for.
Phone contract for the latest Iphone or any other flagship phone
Sky Sports,
Sky TV
and all the others Disney paramount Netflix
car finance for a flash Audi
Starbucks coffee per month
3 takeaways per week
holidays to Cancún.
Pet dogs and vet insurance
Tattoos
Fags
Yup Aveatry the fick daily Mail reader believes right wing tropes.

Thank you for proving my point

People in poverty haven’t got any of that.

People who can’t afford to buy enough to eat every month don’t have any of that stuff

You really believe that ?

You obviously aren’t anywhere near retirement

So let’s do some simple sums

Homeowner pensioner on £11500 state pension give about £221 per week

Minus eg

£2000 council tax £38 per week
£2000 Dual fuel £38 per week
£500 water £10 per week
£2000 food £38 per week
£1000 other bills £19 per week
£1000 transport £19 per week

Total £162 per week

Leaves then about £50 for everything else

That is not well off, that’s probably relative poverty
Well done for working out costs for 2 people and pension for one

Yes they are.

Where is their manifesto did they state

Removal of WFP
Including DC pensions into estates
Doubling or more of road tax
Increases to employer NI
Halting a variety of major road improvements
Applying IHT to farmers
Increasing numbers of boat arrivals
Releasing dangerous criminals early

Well done for working out costs for 2 people and pension for one

Ok but there are lots of couples who don’t get full state pensions either, in fact lots of women in the late 1950,s were told not to pay the stamp

Let’s have your numbers?

Then we’ll compare

It is noted Aveatry was never bothered about the big rise in child poverty and in work poverty…..but of course Aveatry falsely claims these people have plenty of money they just need to “cut down on their Netflix” or “they have the latest iPhone”.

Aveatry hates people on benefits….he says they are “benefit scroungers” the Daily Mail made him believe it
Time for a reminder of the list of standard replies used by the RRL Rabid Radical Left
Lets play the RRL bingo - I have 4 on my card all in just the one Notch post above..

9 Completely make things up that you said and heavily edit your post to fit their point,
10 will make things up that you are thinking and post them in quote marks like its something that you actually said.
11 deliberately try to antagonise a poster to try and get the thread shut down or the poster banned.
15 Something about reading the daily mail.

1 no it doesn't
2 nonsense.
3 Who are these you speak of?
4 something about lizards....or tin foil
5 Ask them?
6 Seriously?
7 When did it say that followed by--- 8
8 Then you will waste your time collating the proof and they will completely ignore it.
