Always wondered why the Bedouin wear those long robes in the scorching desert heat. Maybe you could learn a thing or two andy. One of the best things about hot weather like this is seeing all the local girls in their summer clothes.

"Heatwaves are responsible for more human deaths per year than any other weather event"More people die from cold weather than die from hot weather.
Because of this climate change nonsense our gas and electric are going up in price, and now that we have had a couple of scorching days the eco loons will want to ban this and ban that, leading to more gas and electric price rises...which will lead to more cold weather deaths.
Utter.nonsense
check out Putin and what he has been up to recentlyMore people die from cold weather than die from hot weather.

check out his carbon footprint.I remember that our favourite 'phony' environMENTAList once paid hisself several hundred thousands of BBC tax payers money to point a camera at animals that live under rocks in very hot climates . . . . .
Maybe all these fake environMENTALists should join those animals under those rocks, & not bother the rest of us who are capable of realising that the deep Sahara is not rural Suffolk.
That’s not what the article (which has no credibility anyway) states."Heatwaves are responsible for more human deaths per year than any other weather event"

The only thing people should wonder about on the new records is where they were - both contain airfields. I used to work at a place with a large area of tarmac. The sun heats it up and as that temperature effect falls the tarmac adds more. It and concrete could be worth an extra couple of degrees. It still leaves temperature that are well over what the UK would normally expect and they have been increasing and are getting more frequent. That down to general weather pattern changes - aspects other than CO2 can alter that as can more heat caused by CO2.

Are you saying that our righteous & honest to the core meteoriologists are skewhiffing the temps by sighting their instruments in places where those temps can be predicted to be extreme???The only thing people should wonder about on the new records is where they were - both contain airfields.
