nobody can check a small boat landing in the middle of the night.
the UK coastline is 19,000 miles long.

Weren't they going to fit doors to avoid Mexicans damaging it or choosing a place where there is no wall?

So, if your neighbourhood is blown to pieces, half your family and friends killed, and you are poor, you are a refuge.
But if your neighbourhood is blown to pieces, half your family and friends killed, and you are a wealthy entrepreneur / business owner / brain surgeon, you are an economic migrant

All makes sense now. Immigration status determined by wealth, as it always has been. Although, some people are suggesting we want the poor refuges, not the successful ones?

I think that's pure speculation. The UK has more cases of this, certainly more deaths. It's more likely that the immigrants/refugees catch it when they get here.... :whistle:

If some one can prove that denying them the right to enter the UK would endanger their life ,then they should be allowed to enter even if they don't have any money.
The problem is that a lot of these illegals are not fleeing persecution , they coming here for economic reasons.
Nothing wrong with someone looking for a better life but they should use the proper channel and not the English channel.
