Still waiting here of news of any arms from the west

New Lines conducted an independent investigation into what weapons systems have been pledged, what has been delivered, and what Ukraine still needs, based on international reporting. Only systems pledged by official sources or visually confirmed to have been delivered are included here

What Heavy Weapons the West Has (and Hasn’t) Sent Ukraine

True but while they probably don't care so much about body bags as say the USA does
During the Vietnam war, the bloke in charge of the American armed forces, General Westmoreland i think it was, well, he liked to give regular updates on how many Vietnamese they had killed, he thought this was good for morale among his troops and the folks back home.
He measured success in bodycounts, most of which were exaggerated, he was told by some politician back in America that the American people didn't care how many Vietnamese died, what Amercans really cared about was how many Americans were dying.

Just more petrol on the fire and more death and destruction in a pointless war.

The Israelis are not best pleased with his assertion that the Holocaust was started by a Jew
That is an interesting point.
A lot of jewish writers have made money out of peddling this theory.
Strange that when non Jews do it, the get jumped on.

Well lavrov stating that hitler was a Jew has just cropped up
Again

The Israelis are not best pleased with his assertion that the Holocaust was started by a Jew

and they are very up set

there may well be internal pressure for Israel to get off the fence over this Ukranian caper

all potentially down to lavrov failing to engage his brain and gob at the same time
I read that Hitler had Jewish Generals in his army and as many 60000 of his troops were either Jewish or part jewish.

do you believe that he has a huge, trained and equipped spare army, and thousands more tanks that actually work, sitting around doing nothing?
Wouldn't take long to knock up another batch of cannon fodder in Russia.

If you take nukes out of the equation, the combined force of the 30 NATO countries could take Russia out and ****head knows it.
Without the Americans Nato is a joke.
On paper "30" countries looks Good but no where near enough to occupy a country the size of Russia.
Finland, a country a far smaller country than Ukraine inflicted a severe defeat on the Russians in the last war, this defeat appeared to confirm European negative opinions of Russian military capability, this emboldened Hitler to attack Russia along with other European countries.
The rest is history.

Well, America is in NATO so that's a bit of a pointless comment.

NATO have no intention of occupying another country, that's not within their remit.

The USA has been known to but not NATO countries. They are encouraged to join in. Success varies. Eg Koria - say 1/2 of it. Residual problems are sometimes left. Looks to be usually of late.
Arms is big business - really big. Attitude can vary according to who is using them also who supplies them. Saudi is an interesting example but the oil rich arab states have a lot of power.

What an individual country decides to do has absolutely no bearing on what the NATO Alliance would do so I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

For nearly 20 years, NATO Allies and partner countries had military forces deployed to Afghanistan under a United Nations (UN) Security Council mandate. NATO Allies went into Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States, to ensure that the country would not again become a safe haven for international terrorists to attack NATO member countries. Over the last two decades, there have been no terrorist attacks on Allied soil from Afghanistan.

Maybe still not clear. No mandate on this one

The March 2003 campaign against Iraq was conducted by a coalition of forces from different countries, some of which were NATO member countries and some were not. NATO as an organization had no role in the decision to undertake the campaign or to conduct it.
