Ring main troubleshooting

In all our efurbs and rentals we are having rings taken out to form radials on RCBO cu's. in the properties with rings eicr's were constantly showing up with faults some real, missing conductor some just whatever...dc voltage being a particular bug bear from usb sockets. At least with a radial if a socket is missing a conductor its fairly easy to spot the break or fault.
Interesting. As you say, (real) faults, if they arise, may be more obvious (easily identified) on radials, but, on thee face of it there would seem to be no particular reason why radial circuits should be any less likely to develop faults than are rings.

Kind Regards, John

That does not make sense

Thank you.
The 3-6 ohms are results from my circuit continuity tests that I took when progressively "halving" the circuit.

Do take the cover off and post a photo

Its a daft installation to say the very least

Cover off now.
If that installation is incorrect, what would be a correct installation ?

If it`s an incorrect installation, please advise the correct layout ?

The daft installation is to have this consumer unit attached to the socket circuit, especially as it appears to be on a spur from said socket circuit.

My advice to you is get a competent spark in

Sorry, question from the audience ...

Looking at that photo, is the supply coming into the isolator then feeding the three breakers, or is it feeding the RCCB which then feeds the breakers?
