To all those that welcome/encourage the small boat migrants.

Why are they so desperate to get to Britain.?
Is France a bad place to live.
Once you have reached a place of safety, you are free to choose a destination of your preference.
There are well documented reasons that asylum seekers choose UK.
Because they may have friends and family connections here, or because they already speak the language, etc.

You're not following the discussion.
It was about UK having an asylum processing centre in France.
it was an offer that France made to UK.
It was not accepted by UK.
What happens to the asylum seeker in France if his application is refused?

Utter ******, mate!

First off, the Tories have done nothing other than welcome them simply due to their utter inaction. They have been unable or unwilling to deal effectively and efficiently with them

If Labour build any prisons it will be a damn sight more than the self-serving Tories did, and they would be housing all sorts of criminals.

Week 2 and you predict the **** show is well on track?

How were the Tories doing after two weeks of small boat traffic?

Were they managing any better?

Pray tell.

You don't half talk nonsense.
Motorbiking is a typical right wing activist. He prefers to focus on the 30,000 a year asylum seekers (because they're an easy target for blame) than to be concerned with the 700,000 legal migrants.

What happens to the asylum seeker in France if his application is refused - can he pop round to you for tea and sympathy before making his own way back to his country of origin?
As the UK has refused France's offer to house asylum seeker centres, your question is hypothetical. So any response would be similarly hypothetical.

Remind us when Labour said they would scrap Rwanda.

So just to get this right. If the numbers go up it was 14 years of conservative mismanagement and if they go down it’s new old new labour to thank.
Not 'if' but 'are' going up, even as the infamous Rwanda scheme was dying with the Party who thought it was a wonderful wheeze to waste millions of taxpayers money on the largest White Elephant ever seen in Whitehall.

Surely that’s a perfectly reasonable question to be asked before going ahead with such a project - what would be the point otherwise? You know, I know and everybody else knows what would happen to those that are refused asylum so a processing centre would be a completely pointless waste of time and money unless the French allowed every person arriving to the U.K. from France by any other means to be immediately returned to France and you just know they wouldn’t agree to that.

Maybe it was a question that UK did ask, before they refused France's offer.
Or maybe they refused the offer without any serious consideration.

So, a hypothetical answer from someone who doesn’t like hypothetical questions. Himmy.

The Tory policy was working?

Any facts and figures to prove that?

Merely presenting the obvious options, which you appear to have been incapable of considering.
You preferred to explore the hypothetical scenarios.

Of course you were. Himmy. Tell me, what is wrong with exploring hypothetical scenarios, that happens in all situations every day? Some people call it 'what if….'.

Ah, grammar shaming. I take it you have no answers to the post then, Himmy?
I won’t mention the grammatical errors in your posts as people will think I’m just being a desperate c**t.

It was intended for guidance, rather than shaming.

Which one?
The one of you asking me for a hypothetical response to your hypothetical question?
Or the one in which you disagree with me about representing you with the obvious alternatives?
Or the one on which you want to explore pointless hypothetical scenarios?

To which post are you specifically referring?
And have I not already given you sufficient responses?

Any/all of them. You are obviously aware of the questions you swerved so why ask again?
